None of those games on the list even compare to how awesome Madden 93-99 were.

For the time period, they were amazing. Something completely ground breaking every year.

I think Madden 99 had the first Franchise mode. Seriously. FRANCHISE MODE.

We're not talking Superstar mode. We're talking FRANCHISE.

Superstar mode is a gimmick. Franchise is what Sim football is all about.

Out of the games you listed, all there is in every one is a graphics improvement and a roster update.

You have to give love to the games that got us to where we are today.

Most of the people that play these games today have no idea that we only used to be allowed to make like 10 roster moves before the dreaded 'Trade Memory Full' came up on the screen.
