yeah. there are some bad animations. it's still football. it's still the best college football game we have on 360/ps3. i'm no fan boy, but there's a difference between constructive criticism and berating the game. this would be the latter.

I agree completely with the fact that the animation was horrible..I mean i don't think anyone in their right mind would argue that.I don't care if that replay was shot with a camera phone, no amount of lacking FPS will change that animation..HOWEVER as Meast stated it is all we have...and as 90% of the people on here have said it is a HUGE improvement over what we had last year....And overall i would agree....Is it perfect...no but that doesn't mean that we should sit here and crucify it. There will be moments in this game and all other video games(i have had quite a few) where you look @ a play and you are like "WTF?" But what matters is the OVERALL experience..and I can say that this experience is leaps and bounds better than 2009...I am not defending EA..I think NCAA should be WAAAAY ahead of where it is..but just as in life you gotta take the good with the bad and if a couple of animations are going to ruin the ENTIRE game for you...well... TRADE IT IN!

Maybe they will be able to fix this with the second patch coming out.

YOU MEAN THAT VIDEO GAMES ARENT REAL AND THEY ARE JUST A ATTEMPT AT REAL LIFE????? GASP!!!!..and here i thought that my 55 year old dad was really playing college football.....*sigh* guess I better go break the news to him

                *Grabs box of tissue*

And hopefully they will find a fix for this but it is very doubtful...This has to do with base encoding and the EA engine itself....so i wouldn't hold my breath..

He wasn't talking about the animations at all in the video, they're an unfortunate side effect of not having any type of procedural animations, or procedural AI. We see that the fullback didn't look at the guy in his gap, we see that the center didn't get to the next level, and we see that the other back didn't seal off the backside defender. This is not good football AI. I wonder how many plays are like this on a macro level (broken by bad AI), that then break down fundamentally on a micro level (with poor animations, suction and the like).
Our purchasing power is being eroded. So especially now, the goods must be held to a standard. We end up happier as consumers, and the companies get a clear message: "We won't tolerate sub-par goods." It's a shame, no one cares to speak with their wallet.

I understand that Prime is easy to attack becaue he is SO critical of every little detail, but let's all be honest here. In this particular case, he's right. This video shows an absolutely TERRIBLE representation of the sport. The warping and inconsistant AI does not even make sense. Physics are off, AI is off.

At this point, the blocking in NCAA 2007 for XBOX (or Bill Walsh College Football '95 for that matter for SEGA) is better.

*sigh* But what are we going to do? After all, it is video games. AND they're the only show in town, this just so happens to feel like a three ring circus to me.

Does no-one appreciate the comedy in these videos? I think it's such a shame that people can take something so funny and flip it into a serious debate.

                              Apex,

Keep doing what you're doing bro. Good work finding these issues. Tell like it is, pay no mind to people making fun of you. These people have to convince themself to love the game because they paid another $60.00 for a recycle NCAA 07,08,09 and now 10...It's the same BS every year!

Come on EA, you have the programers/developers hands tied, we know they can do better then this!
