Teams available for 3 GAMES OF THE CENTURY !

I have completed teams for the following three games -each of which was considered a "game of the century" type when it was played:

1) 1966--Notre dame vs. Michigan State. This one featured many greats such as (for Notre Dame)Jim Lynch, Nick Eddy - The baby bombers Hanratty and Seymour and Alan Page Michigan State also had outstanding performers --Bubba Smith and George Webster on defense and Clint Jones and Gene Washington on offense. It ended in a memorable 10-10 tie.

2) 1967- UCLA --vs. USC. This was a contest between two heisman trophy winners. --Gary Beban "the Great one" QB of UCLA and O.J. Simpson--the "juice" of USC. Both players were tremendous. Beban, playing with hurt ribs threw a touchdown late to give UCLA the lead. But OJ made a long run to bring USC the victory.

3) 1971-- Oklahoma vs. Nebraska. Billed as the unstoppable force (Oklahoma) vs. the immovable object (Nebraska). A fantastic game -- OU led by Jack Mildren and Jon Harrison an Greg Pruitt put up 31 points on Nebraska's great defense. But in the end the Huskers prevailed thanks to a hall of fame return by Heisman winner Johnny Rogers.

I also made several great Mizzou teams of the past.

1) 1965--Gary Lane--Johnny Roland
2)1968--Mel Gray- Roger Wherli--- use them to battle the 1968 Kansas Jayhawks with Bobby Douglas and John Riggins which were well made by another designer.
3) 2007_Chase Daniel and his guys are available to take on 2007 Jayhawks also well made by another designer.

Thanks again guys. By the way Canesfan5 I also have 1962 Miami with your earliest "star" Qb--George Mira. You might enjoy them--They made it to a bowl game and Mira was a passing-running animal.

Try entering them by their year--example --Just put in 1966 and you should get both Notre Dame and Michigan state. Similarly if you enter 1967 --UCLA and USC should be there. Hope this helps. By the way I jsut replayed the UCLA and USC game-- USC won 27-24--a narrow win just as in real life.

Weird. I was just thinking about making the 86-87 Penn State and Miami teams so I could relive the Fiesta Bowl..

Not at all---I discovered this only recently--What you do is when it asks for team name ---just enter the year in number form--such as 1966--Then hit the search button this will bring up all teams with "1966" in their name In essence the year number is part of the name and the search engine will recognize this. Hope this helps.

Clipping. There was clipping on that return. None the less, you could say that, aside from maybe '95 Nebraska, that these were the two greatest teams (w/in the context of their era) in the history of the sport. I did see a '71 Nebraska team yesterday afternoon/evening and think that it might be yours. Great job, but I did notice something. The away jerseys are missing the Baltimore Colts style stripes on the shoulders. I am impressed that you got the correct helmets in the alt. Most of these created historic teams are sorely missing accurate details on the unis. I've seen multiple '80s Oklahoma teams with black shoes and more than a few '95 Nebraska's with white shoes and striped pants. This are little mistakes, but you'd think people would get it right with the more recent teams.
