The Extra Point looks cool, but the writing overall is pretty weak. I'm still amazed that no one over there noticed that Tom is either not saying the score at the half or simply saying it improperly (writing issue).

Yes Tom, but what's the score? Smh.

I thought that they (IGN) recorded the video after Tom said the score due to the way Tom was speaking.

So he doesn't say the score when cutting into halftime?

EA, suffers from jock syndrome, it is time to actually get some actors to breath some life into the commentating and the halftime show. I think that was one of the advantages visual concepts had over madden by being in california and near a lot of thespians.

They know how to perform, the extra point would be miles better if they got rid of the humans visually used that space just for audio, have an actor project emotion through his or hers voice inflexion(sp).

These jocks and journalist are bland and boring.

Kinda funny how Alex mentioned stats and highlights, even though there are no highlights.

That said, the franchise show is actually kinda cool. Just missing highlights. I wonder if they at least had the opportunity to use gamepics as an alternative, and if they did why they didn't do it.

Not bad for a first try, the writing is still an issue though. I don't really get the necessity to write-in that they're from the NFL Network. That fact is irrelevant, and if you're trying to make your own show believeable you wouldn't be saying anything about another network. It's just another one of those subtle little things that the writers don't seem to have any understanding of. Unless the NFL Network forced them to include it, I can't otherwise see the rationale.

Dang, Marques Colston beastin' it up week 1, 134 yds and 4 TD's. I wonder how many TD's Drew Brees had. jk. Yea, looked like the user skipped like the whole thing.

the only thing they need are voice overs during the replays. and not by hammond and collinsworth. we get enough (read: too much) of those guys during the actual game.

I don't think so. The play and the half had just ended on the whistle. The game isn't set up (nor should it be) to read the score before the half even ends.

Unfortunately, what we just witnessed is a mistake that's gone unfixed and probably because no one noticed it was a mistake... and that in and of itself is a problem. I'm hoping very much that they get some actual writing talent in there at some point, and some new (better) guys recording, editing and overseeing this aspect. It's really a shame to see something with so much potential be screwed up because of something so minor.

No they need music and voice overs with emotion, some highs and lows as you read the high/low lights. Go to you tube and listen to C. Berman when he does the half time show or listen to Trey Wingo and Mel Kipper Jr. in the Franchise Sports Center in nfl 2k5. You need the content to be read in an emotional manner, not the sterile manner in which we are getting. I like that they are doing this but I want to keep coming back, if its a skip fest then it loses all its relevance.

Nice Video!! the Extra Point was better than I had expected, it being the first year put in. It will very fun to see this improve in future games. Not a fan, howeber, of the fake ad of "Quickie Burgers" admist REAL companies like Sprint...(I may have missed something as far as it being in the franchise hub, I know fake ads have been on the field for years)

What gets me the most........people said it looked all plain and un-interesting from the little peaks that we got shown at E3.

Then we get this.......which is "much" better than plain and un-interesting.........and "STILL" people dont have anything
good to say .......un-be-frickin-lievable !

I cannot wait to see what they do with the Extra Point show in the future. Unless the user was skipping thru, its pretty short.

Im pretty sure the user was skipping alot. It's looking much better than the E3 vids for sure though. Cant wait for this damn game.

Hopefully they sorted out the "dumb highlight logic" where they would show a 1 yd insignificant run or where they have all the highlights out of chronological order.

I think those "dumb" highlights are actually meant to highlight the defense however the caption recognizes the offense instead. Small mistake but noticeable.

Those 1 yard runs ended up being highlights due to the user super simming the game.
