Re: New video showung franchise menu & Extra Point
People asking for actual highlights during the half time show and post game know that they will not be actual game footage? They will all be pre recorded plays and not anything to possibly do with the game. 2k5 was pre-recorded footage. So if you want actual gameplay you will probably have to play all the game even when they implemented to not get the canned footage.
MLB the show has post game and they say nothing, why is that ok but not ok in Madden?I doubted you Roy Williams since you only won with a someone else's team... Now you have proven me wrong.
You have earned my respect.

Re: New video showung franchise menu & Extra Point
Agreed. You have to start somewhere, and this is better than I thought it was going to be. No it doesn't have all the elements that I'd like to see, but you have to build off a foundation and Madden '10 seems to have a solid presentational foundation in place.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Re: New video showung franchise menu & Extra Point
Just seems empty. It almost gets you there then, no. It's a "great start" and will be a great feature in "future" maddens. I would rather have one solid aspect of the game than a bunch of partially executed patches. a man can dream can't he?Comment

Re: New video showung franchise menu & Extra Point
This actually looks like it will keep me ENGAGED in franchise mode for multiple seasons.
Something that has been lacking in the past. HUGE improvement.
I can't wait to see that rookie I found in the 6th round get a segment on the weekly wrap-up show. It will make everything just that much more rewarding and engaging.Comment

Re: New video showung franchise menu & Extra Point
i really liked both the halftime and weekly recaps...one error the interception by allen in the endzone says int for 25 yards....must of counted the touchback plus where he caught it...not complaining at all, everything else was solid...cant wait to playComment

Re: New video showung franchise menu & Extra Point
The halftime show is well done. Again, better than I expected. Loved the around the league stat notables.

Re: New video showung franchise menu & Extra Point
Im wondering if EA made Fran Charles and Alex record the names of all possible (8,000) draftees, so in the later years of franchise they actually say their names instead of "the player" or "number 32".Comment

Re: New video showung franchise menu & Extra Point
Didn't EA Adam Scheffer record the names of all the made-up rookies in Head Coach?
I only played that game a bit but I remember hearing the names being actually said, hopefully they did the same for this. At least the higher-rated rookies, busts and gems.Comment

Re: New video showung franchise menu & Extra Point
They managed to put in all of the fluff and crisp graphics but the Extra Point just has no substance. I was actually excited when I heard Alex Flanagan mention highlights, only to be disappointing by a box score and a few individual stats. I probably will rarely watch this, outside of maybe the postseason.Comment
