I've got a legitimate extra PS3 code via email (went to GS and they gave me one as well, thus the extra) that I'd like to exchange for a legitimate 360 code (if someone's got an extra or the wrong one) for anybody that's interested. If you'd like to exchange pm me. If nobody is interested, I'll give it to someone who needs it for PS3 on the 23rd.

There was just a commercial during WWE Raw stating the demo is going to be 5 minute quarters. I thought it was confirmed it was actually just 1 minute quarters?

if you are on PS3, you can use an existing PSN account or create one. that's all you need to download it. the only caveat is that you can't do it until 9 pm on the 23rd.

if you preorder online you don't have to pony up the $5. you print out a confirmation of your preorder and they either send you an email or you go in to GS and show your preorder confirmation and get the code card. if you don't cancel your preorder though, two days after not picking up your game they will charge your card $5.

I'm not 100% sure but i think Gs would let you do that, you might have to put that 5 toward another game or something like that.

Unfortunately I did not come to OS before trying to redeem my code:

1. Pre-ordered and received card with download code
2. Card says NOTHING about when demo is available to download
3. Gamestop emloyees said NOTHING about when demo is available to download
4. Naturally I assumed that since they gave me a card with demo code that I could go home and use it right away
5. Demo code gives error message when entered
6. I call Gamestop and they have "no idea" why code isn't working, they tell me to call Sony with any tech problems I am having
7. I call Sony and they say demo for MAdden 2010 not on Sony servers at this time
8. I call Gamestop back and tell them what Sony said and I ask them "is the demo available now and if not, then when?" They still don't have a clue and tell me it should be out now.
9. I decide to go to OS when I get home (to see if OSers can shed some light on the situation). Thus I find out by reading this thread that the demo is not avaialble until 23rd and that by prematurely entering my code I may have voided it.

Im sure alot of people tried to enter codes already. its weird i preordered online and in the email it says not to enter but ppl say there is no date listed on the cards. lol i bet gamestop and EA will just say "oops my bad, have fun playing the public demo."

I did the same thing and was curious if entering the code would void it so I went to Gamestop and Preordered 2 more copies to get 2 more cards knowing I will stop all 3 preorders simply because I can probably get the game early from a mom and pop shop.

i'm in the UK, couldn't bear playing the 1 minute quarter demo for the next 3 weeks, so picked up a demo code off ebay for about $10..can't wait to play the game on thursday!
