well the budgets in Ncaa will be awesome for example if your FIU (a bad team) an you start building your school an it will be sick if you can sign contracts to nike, adidas, under armour! an the richer your team gets the better you can im prove your athletic facilities, acdemic's (buy books or something) stadium! an there is alot of other things but stadium will be sick that you can actually add on the stadium an "SEE" the changes!

I have been asking for these things for years. Great writeup. I hope EA listens but I doubt it.

EA could easily set up a customization feature that would be able to satisfy the crowd that wants a more simplified dynasty experience. (auto recruiting yes/no, coaching vacancies pool on/off, ...etc) Just make it as deep or as shallow as the user wants.

The only other feature that I have been wanting would be facility upgrades and stadium expansions. Both could be included in the budgeting portion though. You spend the money you get from bowl games / OOC games on those items. The main reason I want those is because it is such a huge part of real life recruiting.

The problem with EA is that they aren't really clear on what their goal is. Are they trying to create a simulation of watching a football game / playing a football game / or the entire college football experience? It seems like they kind of flounder between the ideas and we end up with this mixed bag that we have now.

Ultimately, they have the exclusive rights and we probably won't be getting any significant upgrade until sales start to suffer. Since football fans are so loyal and this game helps pass the time until kickoff, sales probably won't decline significantly enough anytime soon.

Re: Twelve Ways to Improve Dynasty Mode

If the NCAA team was serious about making a truly great dynasty mode all they have to do is play a few years of college hoops 2k8. Coaching changes, Adding attributes to your created coach, hiring 2 assistants, great weekly shows, It even gives you the option to start as any team you want to or start as a small school where you have to build from the ground up. This is the best dynasty mode I have ever played and still do to this day. There is nothing wrong with getting some ideas from a game that has fallen victim to exclusive rights.

And don't forget recruiting violations. 2K8 did that very well. Something like that should be included in Dynasty mode.

Re: Twelve Ways to Improve Dynasty Mode

It seem to me that Dynasty Mode is almost a throw away mode for NCAA series. I really don't think EA will put the resources/time in improving dynasty based on last few years.

I would love the option to save recruit classes. So not only are we going in and putting names for all the teams we do it for recruits as well haha that will be the day.

i remember in the old days NCAA (dont remember what version but it was on the ps1 and early ps2) had you decide who to send on a visit. from the head coach to a graduate assistant. and that effected your recruiting big time. bring that back with the budget (they used points back then)

Also have a calendar with a national signing day on it.. and be able to hire / fire folks for poor performance.. have a war room for preseason evals on current and future talent. have some practices before you cut folks.. i mean its kind of better this year.. I have a 2 star DE that came in higher than the 4 star DE i heavily recruited, and i ended up cutting him (the 2 star is 2nd string RE and he is beasting in his freshman year..)

I also noticed that we have to PAY for advisors and stuff.. up to 1000 points!! man that sucks as well!!! and you can buy several 5 star recruits as well WTF??
"..I ain't a thug, how much tupac in you you got? I aint no beotch eva.. its eva my life or your life and i aint leavin.. i like breathin.. If you really wanna take it there we can, just remember that you messin wid a family man.. got a lot more to loose than you.. rememba dat.. "

I still miss the players getting suspended in season. If it were a controlled thing it would really add realism to a dynasty.

I also enjoyed in the past the player confidence thing where younger or inexperienced players could get rattled in big situations or road games.

Both these items were last seen on last gen I think.

Re: Twelve Ways to Improve Dynasty Mode

I would like to see them incorporate some of the recruiting aspects of NCAA College Basketball '09. I liked how it cost more points to recruit players outside of your pipeline states. Also, I think that they should have a campus or something similar to where you can build a gym (to increase athletic facilities) or a library (to improve academic prestige). I find it frustrating how these aspects are out of your control. Additionally, we need to be able to scout the recruits.
