This is a thread re: the look of the game. Someone made a comment about the look. I responded. I'm not worried about the minute details. I don't care about the threading on the jersey. I don't care about the texture detail being down to the exact pixel shade. I don't care about the ice being a tad bit too shiny or dull. I can live without all those things.

But in the meantime....here......

I actually feel the same way, never bothered me much about jersey numbers or anything of the sort. I wouldn't mind better looking player faces in 2k10 as some were downright scary last year but really thats the extent of it. I'm really more interested in seeing some gameplay footage of the AI with decent slider adjustments above default level. That will be one of the biggest factors for me weather I play 2k10 much this year.

You know me well it steams me ! I could have sworn it was after 2k3 as the players , graphics and 2x4 sticks were the only beef by most .
At one point they had a option to make head size/gear smaller which helped as the mask then shrinked a bit lol .
It changed when goalie mask vents went from circles to triangles if anyone has nhl 2k3, 4, and 5 lol

I'm the crybaby? No mister, that would be all the lames that posted in the thread, who probably cried to the moderator to have it closed. That's fine though, I honestly don't care. There will hundreds of them on day 2 after release for both games and then you can make the same useless comments you've made here, again.

Understood and agree a bit but at this point in 2009 maybe 2k hockey should take a year off like EA did and make a real commitment instead of making Frankenstein hockey each year , never should a game go backwards player wise like 2k9 did .

I personally think 2k knows they cant/wont compete to take it to EA level so they will say the right things "fun and Sim" and kind of focus on the Wii crowd which is actually smart business

Just from that one amazing screen shot this game will be perfect. The AI will own you this year.

I truely do mean this though. This game will be amazing this year. I have faith!

And I personally think NHL 2K10 with VC having had the time to work on it for 18 months will be the second coming of NFL 2K5!

It's amazing the comments a single screenshot can generate.

Do I think NHL2K10 will be the best hockey game ever? Most likely not, but I'm sure it will be an improvement over 2K9 in all facets. All I know is I will most likely play both games this year as always. I hope that whatever info 2K does have for us gets here soon.

Realm I agree, but really at this point, I'll take what I can get. It may not be the flood that EA has hit us with, but at least it's something. The whole guess the feature from the pic, I think is just Ronnie having fun at the expense of the community. I also have read that IGN is suppose to post some info today, don't know the truth in that. It was Peng over at 2KHockey.net, so it very well may be true.
