Family play is ruining my online dyn. We have alot of cheater here and I don't know how to eliminate this feature or find out if they use it or not. Do you have sugestions?

Yea, you can family play I assume in every game if needed. Thats what I don't get, you have to assume everyone is on the up and up. not fun when you play with a bunch of kids.Comment

It allows the user once selected to use one button(x) to basically do everything. Even on heisman you can do this. So why is there even a heisman. I played a whole half with my eyes closed because it always throws to the open reciever and you have to be a moron to get a interceptionComment

family play is not exactly easy, at least not on defense. you can't hot route, can't audible. it doesn't always pass to the wide open WR either. it's not really an advantage, unless he found some exploit in it or something.Comment

Yes, in family play you can't hot route but, it will find the best open player and place an x on them. Defense is still hard but if a player is siming that option you will at least stop the other team once. I have played it on family play 3 times on heisman and I am 78 of 83 for 1633 yards.I went from barely winning by 3 to winning by 40 on HEISMAN... The problem is that if you can't turn this option off. It lets cheesers just run wild.Comment

there is an option to turn it off when you select the playbook and uni before you start the game. at least on PS3Comeback can happen...thanks to EA Sports!Comment

Yeah, Hellisan you pretty much hit the nail on the head with both your points. In my OD I'm not too worried about it with the core group that we have. We added some new members and it gives me something to think about, but when one of the new guys already has 3 losses I don't think anyone is using it. That said. It should be an option to turn it off a la dynasty accelerators. EA, please give us more options and more control. I would also like to be able to disable the saving of the dynasty file off-line for obvious reason.Moderator

I'll third this. I can't imagine playing in an OD where I had to worry about stuff like this or any other kind of cheese. While waiting for my OD to start, I've spent a lot of time playing people from the lobby and I see tons of people asking for ODs in there. This is exactly how I imagine all of those ODs must go.Favorite Teams:

As metioned earlier you can turn this off and on before the game, but in heisman it shouldn't be an option or as a commish you should be able to control this. The easy thing would be just to ban this dude but we have such a small league it would hurt our numbers. Plus this dude is a best friends brother that is(36). You want to trust people but when he has Kentucky and is 45-48 in passing the first two games you know they are cheating. This is a major flaw with this game. I had to reset our dynasty because of this.Comment
