Well, I just finished playing the demo downloaded from Xboxlive. Here's some thoughts.

1. The animations are great. Playing with the Giants in the snow, Jacobs runs a pattern out of the back field. As he plants to cut, he slips causing an int. The slip looked very realistic.

2. Eli and Romo are not the same, thank god. Their releases are totally different, which is why I didn't complete one pass in the demo, lol. I loved the way when a qb got hit how the ball would flutter.

3. You can tell the crowd is going to be involved in this game finally.

4. I may be in the minority on this, but I don't like the play calling screen.
5. Someone should tell the coaches in the game not to yell at his players AFTER they just scored a TD.
6. I hope they really did fix the human pass rush. The cpu rush was fine, but the human pass rush without a blitz was muffed-up.

Overall, I really like this. They could ship this demo as the game and it would blow 09 away. It's some quirks in the game I didn't like, but won't bitch about because it is a demo. Anyone that says this game is just Madden 09.5 is lying, period. Looking forward to the game soon.

Ian, can we have the MVP or player of the game chosen at the end of the game, unless a blow out. Silly to be announced while the game is still up in the air.

Demo is terrible only because of the lack of presentation and commentary! That's the only thing that annoyed me other than, not being able to play with a team I cared about!

Other than that, it's a purchase!

Also got the hell beat out of me, game is hard as **** on All-Pro!

I like that you can actually run the ball with success this year lol. The wildcat has been money every time I've used it though, whether it be the Steeler's wildcat or the Cardinals thing with Boldin as the QB.

ok i just wanted to chime back in with some of my thoughts on the actual gameplay, AI Logic now that i've had enough time to warrant honest impressions...By the way, you guys should try both demo's if you already havent...your gonna see some team specific gameplay...nice nice nice. I do have two 360's though..not sure if you can actually put both demo's on one 360..so be careful

Im really REALLY appreciating the CPU run game in this game..its agressive and can be deadly at times..this is a nice challenge for me as im very good playing Run D against cpu and human players...

Also some of the hits are just devistating..not over the top but just some hard F"n blows here and there..nice stuff

Also i found the cpu covers a hell of alot better when cpu is on D...its a night and day difference now that i have had time to play..im seeing a few quirks here and there with the cpu logic but its nothing that sliders cant fix as long as sliders work out the box..cough cough NCAA lol

Im pretty impressed with the passing game on both sides..user and cpu..there is a nice mix of inconsitency going on and it GREATLY reflects how much pressure the QB is getting..the more heat comong on, the lesser the accuracy is..

Im quite pleased with this demo..seriously..im just not talking about the presentation as im a HUGE presentation guy but im 34 years old..i know football as much as the next sports fanatic...this game plays a solid game of football..better then NCAA in so many ways..i wont go as far to say its light years ahead of NCAA but out of the box..demo compared to NCAA out of the box...this madden demo has it beat easily as far as gameplay and cpu logic goes...

Exactly, the graphics, textures, and lighting, all look great, but the players look scaled odd. The player models just seem stubby and short in different sections of their bodies. The ball also looks huge compared to players. if they were to add some length to them and overall made them taller than most of those issues may be gone.

If you pre-ordered from gamestop or something you get to play a 4 quarter, 5 minute per quarter game with the Cards vs. Steelers.

If you get called for a facemask check out the replay. The new thing they did with tackling that makes hands, arms, and other appendages line up where they should be looks perfect. Awesome show, great job!
