Ehh, I'm not a huge fan of this. The zoom at the end of every play is annoying. Also something's weird with the passing. It's still a decent demo. I'm sure I'll be buying Madden 10 regardless.

I just quick burst juked around a defender. Made him look silly and took it to the house with Parker. Felt and looked awesome. Too bad the replays are so damn short.

They've improved the momentum and there's no cutting on a Dime for anyone.
No, this really disappoints me. You can shake a guy with 1 juke move only, no combining juke moves. The juke animations look a lot better and are not as exaggerated as the past. I would say NCAA 10 has better running controls besides the overdone juke moves. They're probably the same except in Madden it looks much more realistic.Comment

Just noticed Pro-Tak for the first time. Farrior and Keisel on Beanie Wells. They got a good grip on him and pulled him down on his back, preventing extra yardage. Thought it looked good.Comment

Sorry if this has already been addressed but there are just so many pages of responses.
I really love the accellerated clock feature, and I've read that it's implemented in the 5 min demo. I'm am just curious if the accellerated clock with become a permenant feature and will become the norm in online and offline games.
So my question is, will the accel clock be a part of all online ranked games? If so, will the default clock be set at 5min? I would think it would be more like 7ish min but the I don't know how long online ranked games are suppoused to be in the eye's of the developers.Comment

short replays = 60fps versus long replays = 30fps
shorter replays are much better in 60fps. The old 30fps replays had weird glitches/pops that didn't actually happen in the game.Comment

I'm loving these impressions. I can't wait for the demo to drop on PS3 tonight. I'm sure Apex will have a "I'm disappointed in running animations" video before I get home tonight.

Oh and the difference between Warner and Roethlisberger in terms of mobility is night and day. I didn't leave the pocket once in my game with the Cardinals. Granted, I didn't try to. But it felt like I couldn't, he felt like a statue back there and I was pretty comfortable sitting back in the pocket. I think the pocket is pretty well done for the most part.Comment

Yep, I remember when we discussed that months ago. I think I prefer long replays. Or maybe a choice, if possible. We're going to see a lot of incomplete replays. I've already had three that I really wanted to see but couldn't.
