Not sure if this was off the finished build, but if you compare the two, it really doesn't look as finished.

I'll be really disappointed if the procedural awareness doesn't live up to the hype. Don't care about the things 2k have had for a while now... show me all that new tech that I've been hearing about!

But again... the lighting looks really good. Love the way it bounces off the crowd.

Boxing out is certainly there, but it looked like it's hit or miss.

It was mentioned earlier that they aren't in this early build. It should be there at retail.

WOW, good find. That was amazing.

Anyone notice how GREAT the lighting, sweat and textures were??? Did it seem like in Live 10' there's more gloss/shiny-ness and less depth than 09?

Fellas - Just ran through the rim sound effects with our sound artist and the ones that were in that video were our old ones that were captured for Live '06. We have new ones this year that we pulled from a bunch of NBA crowd recordings we did (Lakers, Suns, Warriors). So, that sound you heard when the ball was bouncing around in the video won't be in our shipped game.

Looking at the old trailer more closely, that same fundamental cut seems to be old as it was in last year's trailer. I think there is just the plant that is new.

The pass Jameer Nelson did was off the PnR control, which was there last year. If you can control the bounce pass, that would at least be new.

And I really don't like Lebron's face (look at the Pietrus jumper).

They did work on the player faces and thankfully there should still be some time to keep working on them. It does look like graphically there is less detail on the players in-game. Perhaps the poly-count is higher during the cut-scenes (would make sense since the other players on the court don't need to be accounted for as most of them look to focus on just one or two players) but the difference seems to be pretty glaring.

These are all nitpicks... but you knew it had to happen. Until there is some 5 on 5 gameplay it's really difficult to see the true improvements.

They Probably compromised some detail for smoother gameplay and higher frame rate. It kinda has a "2kish" look to it now.

I know why Lebron face is ugly when they show him with pietrus, It's because he was trying to contest the shot and was making ugly facial Expression like they said there will be alot of expression this year! Look closely at Lebron face during other part of the clips, he looks Good!

can you tell Ryan Santos to put the nba logo on lebron headband at the center and not on the side(The logo dont even exist in the trailer) since u guys doing all that little detail that makes the game better!!!

I like the Art Work but I'm convinced EA needs to steal one more person from 2k. That happens to be the Art director Lynell Jinks lol. I mean Ryan is doing a good job but I personally think Lynell is a better artist. I guess that's one thing 2k10 will have over Live 10. Better art/player faces. Again I'm going to hold judgemnt til final product or more info and screens are shown but I feel Ryan and Lynell together could do damage. Prolly get all 300 plus NBA player faces in in 1 yr lol. Wishful thinking on my part.

The players and ball still seem to lack weight, they seem to sort of "float" a bit. The ball and rim physics when they interact doesn't look right to be. The ball seems too light. The graphics aren't bad but still has that EA cartoon-ish look. Playing 2K can resemble a real life broadcast in some ways, whereas EA's game still looks like a video game.

I'm not hating, just giving some feedback on my impressions of the game. I wasn't blown away like some others here. The colours are rich and the graphics are quite good, just not at the standard I feel this game needs to be, particularly the animations, they still don't look quite right.

My 2 cents.

It's a bug in the build in the trailer.

It will be fixed when the game ships. A developer already stated this.
