I ask this question again and again and nobody seems interested in it:
Is there any control input involved in Pro-Tak?
In other words, is it just an animation that takes account of the people's ratings to determine where the pile goes? Or can I actually do something, such as press forward on the L stick, to make the pile go forward?

I rarely used 'Lead Blocker', but I would be lying if I said Im not a little happy it is gone...
Some people that mastered it during my online matches gave me major headaches when they lined up in goal line and pulled with the guard pancaking the the first defender they saw with puuurrree ease.
I think it was something cool when they first implemented it, but it was just too one-sided in the result of the play if someone user controlled the lineman. The defenders practically had no chance.Comment

How does everyone feel about the pass speed on the deep ball? It's obvious that passing speeds have been toned down and they seem fine on short or intermediate passes. But the ball really seems to hang on the deep passes. Am I not supposed to lob it anymore? I didn't get to try it much but my normal lob just floated forever. Any tips or insight would be appreciated.Comment

There is control input during these moments. If you are engaged you can still juke, spin, or truck stick. If you truck stick you will see him fall forward usually. If you juke or spin, he will fall to the side of the direction of said juke or spin. Similar to what they had in 09, but now you can do it anytime you are engaged where as in 09 it was only certain tackles that you could still attempt to break out.I ask this question again and again and nobody seems interested in it:

You certainly have control. Try using the truck stick while being wrapped up, or using stiff arm, RB, etc. I had a run play with Parker that, in 09, would've been a loss. But I powered through and was able to eek out another yard.I ask this question again and again and nobody seems interested in it:

Im telling you I am not buying this game unless they fix the momentum issue, I was playing the Cards and it was 4th and 1, Warner throw to Boldin and caught it in the endzone but his momentum coming back to the ball brought him out of the endzone, so when he went to cut back he was back on the opposite side of the first down marker got knocked out of bounds, no Td no first down.WTF?chuckcross.bandcamp.com

As the user, if your the actual ball carrier, and a gang tackle is developing, and you actually get stoop up -- you can switch to an O-Lineman to help push the pile forward...but it mainly comes down to the size of the RB, and the amount of people pushing the pile.I ask this question again and again and nobody seems interested in it:

Im not sure if there is any specific button to help push the pile forward or backward...but it has been said it depends on the strength of the defenders and lineman that determines that.Comment

I was reading some of the posts and people were play as PIT/ARI, I played as DAL against the Giants. But I liked the game, I was hoping they would have the half time show but I guess they don't want to release it(other then through shown videos) until the game is out.Comment

there is something wrong with one of the catch animations. 90% of the time I do a corner rout the WR would start off looking at the ball approaching him and at the last second catch it over the top of his opposite shoulder. Rarely does the reciever take his eyes off the ball to catch it. this happens way too often, and I kno it can be fixed because it doesnt happen in NCAA 10. The reciever should go up to catch the ball on the same side he's looking at it approach him as hes running his route. Besides that the game is amazing. The annimations are out of this world. Running the ball actually feels real. The new juke stick is awsome. if your holding down sprint and mover the right analog left or right the runner does a quick juke burst and if your not holding sprint he does the jump hop juke like from the pass years, so thats more realistic...
I just dont understand how they can make such an amazing game and mess up on something so little like that.
Please someone from EA fix this catch annimation before launch, it almost ruins the gameComment
