Has Anyone Blocked a Punt or Field Goal yet

If so how did you do it and any tips to maybe help me out. I really wanna block a kick.

I have seen it, Illinois v. Ohio State. I was back to return and the cpu took one of my players, bust through the line, put his hands up and blocked the kick. Unfortunately, the kick hit the player in the face rather than his hands but it did occur. Now, if only I could figure out how to do it myself

I haven't blocked one against the CPU but have (a field goal) against a user offline, which is obviously a little easier with the meter showing. You just gotta watch the meter close and time the snap. I just can't do it against the computer though.

no but i actually came close to blocking a fg. Punts i would block every once in a while in past years mainly when the cpu punted from near midfield and id have punt block on and they'd be in a normal punt formation or if they were inside their own 5 and didnt have much room.

But for fgs, it was actually an PAT, i controlled the deep guy and started moving him towards the line and i guess timed it perfect because when the ball was snapped my guy really had a great burst and got through the line but i missed the block. You gotta time it right so your guy is moving forward close to the line just as the ball is snapped.

I blocked a field goal but I have no idea how I did though. It just kinda happened. I was using Michigan against Indiana(CPU) I believe.

No, but I had one of my field goals blocked by the cpu. It shocked me because the last time I saw that was Tecmo Bowl against the Giants.

I've blocked one extra point and had one of mine blocked by the CPU. Both times, someone broke thru the gap between the snapper and left guard.

Its funny this was posted cuz I have to tell this story hahahaha.... Last night I don't know how but I burst through the CPU's line twice. Now I didn't block the kick but got two roughning the kicker penalties so I knew then it was possible to block FGs. Then today vs. Tennessee I score a touchdown for 22 pts and my son says now you're about to get 23 and right when he says it I'll be damn if the d-lineman didn't break through the line, block the XP, and Eric Berry scoops and scores for 2 pts. I had to look at him, smile, and explain thats why you don't count points you don't have yet.

But in short, I think you have to time the jump the snap (by pressing the right analog stick towards the line of scrimmage) because the how I burst through the line and punished the CPU's kicker. To give you a visual it looked like when Sean Taylor (R.I.P.) hit the punter in the pro bowl.

too block a punt , pick all out block select the man farthest to the left of your screen move him a little torwards the kicker so that hes standing up, the computer will bring the gunners in now to help block the last gunner will go into place right when hes set you go and should get a great jump giving you the opportunity to block the punt

In my dynasty i use player lock on the guy lined p furthest to the left and have two or three field goal blocks. The second you make contact with the blocker hit the right joystick and dive after the animation. If you get the right animation you will be right there for the block, if not you get pancaked.
