I thought I explained very clearly what my "beef" was with you. I never called you a bad guy, etc.

It's simply the sheer VOLUME of posts, in addition to the volume of your posts, your "impressions" read no differently than if they were written by the Public Relations Department from EA Sports.

It's great to be enthusiastic, but just like last year it seems like every page of hundred plus page threads has at least one or two posts by you on every single page. Each one HYPING the game. I think it's only fair that new people here know this is exactly what you did for Madden 09. Nothing but gushing, effusive posts about how amazing the game was, like I said, your posts could be written by the EA P.R. department.

We see hundreds of posts of people complaining about "haters" if they say anything negative about Madden whether they're constructive or not. You are the "reverse-*****" lol.

I don't have a problem with anyone's opinion, and every critique of Madden is met with at least a few posts critical of the poster and not the content of the criticism.

It's one thing for someone to say they loved the demo/release, etc. It's another thing for someone like you who posts hundreds upon hundreds of posts each year HYPING the game each year.

Just like last year, your posts read more like spam/advertising for the game than serious impressions or feedback. I know I'm not alone in this opinion. It's nothing personal, but, geez, if someone posted slightly negative impressions of the game over and over on every single page of hundred plus page threads, they would be banned for sure.

I would think your enthusiasm would be tempered just a bit this year after hyping Madden 09 like you were getting paid by the post last year. Only later to tire of the game and praise Madden 09 PS2 as the new be all and end all. Sorry if I'm raining on your parade, but just like last year I can't read a new page on these thread without one or two posts by you. It's supposed to be an IMPRESSIONS thread, not a chance for you to prove your undying love and loyalty for the Madden series on every page.

My advise is to take it up in PM instead of cluttering personal issues in an impressions thread.

Plus, you said you can't go by an impression page without seeing a post by him. He already gave you a simple solution for that. Put him on ignore.

Has there been any info on what will be fixed in the final version and the patch? Sorry I haven't been online all day, and don't have time to read through tons of pages.

nothing concrete that I know of. The only thing I remember Ian saying was the version the demo is compared to the final build is a difference of 2-3 weeks of tuning.

You saw the post I called "fanboy" on, a 1000 word rant with no paragraphs 500 WORDS IN ALL CAPS, filled with profanity and 2k sucks all over it.

You implying that my posting history is filled with calling people fanboys is just a distortion/lie. If I wanted to call "fanboy", I would have hundreds of posts to choose from. That post you referred to is just so hysterical I couldn't resist, it was the ultimate fanboy post, it should be put in a time capsule it was so good.

Can the fumble pileup mini-game be turned off in the final build? For some reason I keep thinking that I read that it has an option where it can be turned off.

I have played both demo's a ton and have not seen anything like these videos are showing. These are one off things, and hopefully won't detur the people on this board from getting the game. The game is leaps and bound better than anything that has been out put since madden 2001, and is extremely close to matching NFL 2k5.

First, I think there is no need for caps lock, do you?

No, NCAA is played very fast and Madden is now trying to be realistic to the speed of the NFL. If you want to up the speed, there will be a slider for game speed.

madden 10 is looking scary for me. it has plus but its had these same old issues. there engine just flat out sucks when it comes to recreating the NFL
