You guys come out in 10, and let the DB make cuts on WR's before the WR does, or at the exact same time EVERY single play.

This is like my only complaint about the demo. This and pass rush, which I assume will be fixable with sliders and the patch.

LoL, I love this thread. Yesterday...it was all love...today it's almost all hate.

I for one am enjoying the demo immensely. Then again, I don't cut to replay after every single play to find a broken animation. I just enjoy it.

I just played the Demo, and i was kinda of pleased. I think Ian and the boys did a good job so far. Now i can't stand EA's madden games, but this one has promise.

What i notice when playing the demo. I let the cpu vs cpu play each other so i can see the game play, but here is what i notice.

WHAT I LIKED
1. The pulling guards ran up field to make a block.

2. I also saw the guard pick up an outsider blitz, by steping back in the pocket to pick the player up.

3. I saw 2 defenders along with the WR jump for the ball.

4. I like that when the ball is wet the center has trouble getting the ball up to the QB when in shotgun.

5. There was a good running game. M. Barber had like a 20 yard run.

6. The crowd was into the game. (I think they need to amp it up alittle more.)

7. QB overthrew, and underthrew WR.

8. Some good tackling animations.

9. Pass rush was there. Needs alittle more, but romo was sacked atleast.

10. The speed of the game was GREAT.


WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE
1. The running animations. (Needs work for next year.)

2. The players look to shinny. I like the dull look that was in Madden 06. It had a more real grainy look.

3. I meantion the crowd needs alittle louder.


Ian, i think you guys are on the right track. Just build on from here. I hope the franchise is deep.

madden 09 demo was the same as the final product just from that im pretty sure madden 10 will be the same as the demo.

I understand that.

All I'm repeating is what Ian said. There was some fine tuning and tweaking done for 2-3 weeks after the demo was finished.

this demo is crazy...players constantly doing things you will never see on Sunday....the hype machine strikes again, dont even try to deny it

Man I really love the fact that I can finally run pitch plays out with WRs blocking. You have no idea how frustrating and futile it was to run with WRs "blocking" in 09. Also you can finally get penetration as a Dlineman, I had two back to back sacks with Hampton on nearly identical plays (i though I was watching a replay of the previous play lol) and I was tearing it apart with Dockett.
