X360 Gold Members can download a 1 minute, 4 quarter demo of the Cowboys vs. Giants at The Meadowlands in a snowstorm. This same demo will come to PSN on Thursday, a week later.

Well, these animations are setting in, and getting to me. They do happen nearly every play. But, I'm not sure as to wether or not they will ruin the entire game for me. I won't pick up Madden the first day, and hopefully I'll hear that they are improved. Players hanging in air too long to miss the INT and still make the tackle, players clearly being down and popping back up, suction blocking, etc. These animations are hooooorrible.

wow, i'm really happy they've made it so that you can break through more tackles this year..but on a kickoff, felix jones just broke through atleast 6 tackles and scored...that's pathetic.

How's everyone doing with field goals? I just attempted a 48 yarder with the Giants kicker with 14 MPH winds adding to his strength, the meter filled all the way up and the kick didnt even make it to the endzone?

And the Romo throw during the pre-game doesn't really look like Romo to me. I thought he had a little bit of a sidearm in his throw in real life and in the game its as over the top as can be.

I'm still a bit concerned that FG's are too easy, especially for the CPU. Rackers drilled a 57-yarder on me last night and it probably would have been good from 60.

How are the people with the Cards vs. Steelers doing with passing? Passing is unbelievably difficult this year, I can't thread the needle to any WR's. Maybe it's because of the weather factor since I only have the Cowboys vs. Giants in the snow storm. I hope this gets better.

Can you still pre-order Madden with the bonus? I'm seriously tempted. I played the demo and I was really impressed. This might be the first Madden game where I buy it in a store on the day it's release in a couple of years, and not off eBay 3 months later

I liked it way better than NCAA 10 and it's just a demo but in the demo it states that this year it will be slowed down I hope not cause the real NFL is all about making split second decisions while tons of stuff isgoing on around you. But I must say the gang tackling was nice a bit late for my liking 2K been had that going for it damn EA and they monopoly lol.

Yep, did it last night. Got the code in the mail and worked just fine for me on 360.

No game is bug free. Every game has a bug occur here and there, even MLB the show.

I know someone here in Charlotte who has the final game.He got his the day the demo was out.

I just got done playing the Cowboys/Giants demo. The game ended in a tie at 0 to 0.

The run blocking is much improved from the Superbowl demo but that's not saying a lot. Sometimes OL doesn't attempt to block the player closest to them right in front of them. If I wanted a lineman to block someone other than the person in front of them, I should be able to control the lineman to do so. Players still catch passes without actually looking for the ball. What ever happened to procedural awareness?

The morph/suction tackles comes directly from the pro-tak. Seems to me that the pro-tak made more problems rather than improving.

I've just about had it with the super 180 turns. The branching out from gang tackling ignores the momentum and leads to unrealistic animations.

Did I mention the procedural awareness? I just had a DB swat the ball. The ball was directly over his head. DB isn't aware of it but slides to where he's in position to make the interception. What was with all of the examples of a virtual person looking at flashing balls?

Some thing I did like, Eli and other players slipping in the snow. The wind playing a factor in kicking and the presentation.

Overall, better but not good enough. Madden is like the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway, no matter how much you try to improve it, it's still old,broken, slowly deteriorating, and doesn't meet the standards

The demo is unbelievably slow...I like the running game though.

Passing Defense and passing offense is a little sketchy though.

Haha, I love that quote.

I will give my impressions though. I think a couple things that are in serious need of reworking. One is just the overall ai logic in every aspect of the game. I have CPU DBs with eyes in the back of their heads, lineman not blocking guys in front of their face and going for guys behind them, etc.. This things happen all the time, it's just not once in a while but all the time. I'm always left with the thought of, "what is this guy doing?" Secondly, is the running animation. I know the gameplay is slower, but my guys just look like they are jogging no matter what.
The legs are moving slow and lumbering not smooth.
