Homework Help!

I have an assignment right now where I have to interview someone that is living in the United States but has lived in another country for some period of time. This excludes anybody that was in the military, it should be a native of a foreign, that are able to answers questions like the following:

How are children educated in the country? Is there a difference between how girls, boys, and minorities are educated?

What is the normal dress?

What are the main religions?


Any help that any of you can give me will be greatly appreciated.

Just say your grandma was from whatever country and make it all up. Do some googling on whatever country and you will be good to go.

If you don't know anyone who is from another country, ollie's suggestion is probably good.

Just say your grandma was from whatever country and make it all up. Do some googling on whatever country and you will be good to go.

I've never left this country, ever. I'm sorry, I can't help you personally.

But if you want, I can ask my dad. He lived in Germany for 13 years when he was younger, but it was a long time ago so I'm sure the culture has changed by now. He's not around, though. He'll be back later tonight.

You couldn't resist being a smart *** could you? I'll never understand why people have to comment on threads that they are going to contribute nothing to.

The assignment is a little bit tougher then the questions I posted..some of the questions I can't just research, they speak to actual feelings about globalization. But if it comes down to it i'll go with olliebum's advice. If not blzer I might be sending you a pm here soon.

Problem is as I said, it was about forty years ago and when he was a child. I don't think he'll remember much, as I don't think he even remembers the street he lived on (if it still exists).

I'm thinking you'll have better luck with other people.

I do have a friend who is a sophomore in college who lived in France until she was about fifteen, maybe I can ask her. I don't know if she'll be willing to participate though.

Harsh words considering he isn't the only one who hasn't contributed (except disscusion, isn't that the point of a message board? )

Anyway, I have a friend who was raised in Jordan, but he is on vacation there.
