is major wright the most overrated 95+ player on the game?

95ovr, 92spd, 86awr, 95zcv, 94prec, 94pur. the title wasnt meant to incite any gator fans, but is he anywhere near that kind of an instinctive cerebral ballhawk? the best player in that secondary? everyone knows hes a great hitter, but personally i would have him the lowest rated amongst the gator back four.

i applaud ea for allowing us to edit ratings, but i wanted to get some input from others.

If those ratings you posted are true, then yes, EA has severely overrated him.

When you're a top ten team, you get overrated. It's just that simple. It was just last year that Alabama had Glenn Coffee with an 84ovr rating. Now their 4/5 QBs (both walkons) are 82 overall. And don't even start with the OLine- something that was supposed to be our weakness this season actually is somewhat of a strength. We have a bunch of sophmore/rs freshman that get high 80s rankings, when really they should be in the mid to low 80s.

It comes with the territory, look where Aaron Curry was rated last season...

And when people who make the game went to your university... you're players can get overrated.

I've seen a lot of complaints about USF or UCF getting really good recruits or having better players than they should. I think it's more than just a coincidence that Florida schools (since the game is made in Florida and staffers/devs are from Florida schools) do better than most people think they should.

Major Wright is the hardest hitter in the NCAA. And like dude say, you cant overrate the champs.

You want overrated, go look at half of the 3* freshman or QB Jordan Jefferson from LSU.

Major is a damn good ball player, a 95 he is NOT. But I can live with him being in the 90s, remember how they had Myron Rolle last yr. U kidding me LMAO

Taylor Mays is SEVERLY overated.

lol ur right about the 3* Frosh, terrible.but I also think they underated the 5* guys.
Nowadays incoming freshman contribute ALOT esp those 5* caliber guys
UNC has like the top 5* DE and he isnt even included on the defualt rosters

Lol @ Taylor Mays being better than Major Wright. Mays plays for USC, so of course he rakes in loads of hype just like USC. And Eric Berry?? The only reason Berry stands out to anyone is because hes by FAR, I repeat by FAR, the best player of Tennessees roster.

We will find out if Taylor Mays is all that he is cracked up to be with USC's entire Linebacking crew gone. I have heard many times on TV and seen on web sites Taylor Mays is the best Safety in college right now. We will see.

i know how the game overrates top ten teams, but i made the thread moreso about how he was overrated within his own unit. i would have had him 88-90 and like i said the lowest rated player in that secondary.

Glad Donte Moss Is geting some love after lans roster came out i darn near fell out of my chair when i didnt see him

I'll give you that Major's awareness shouldn't be that high, but he should still be rated up there with the other starters in the Florida secondary
