Why Do People Act As If The Demo Is The Final Product?

Is it just me, or are some people carrying on as if the demo represents the final product. Ian/EA said (and I wish someone could find it) that the demo doesn't have a ton of the graphics, animation and fine tuning because it's based on a build that's about a month old. Heck, the revamped line play is not even in the demos.

I wish people would realize that before passing judgment. I think the final game play will be great.
When the game is on the line, winners want the ball.

Because it is suppose to be the product that is suppose to sell you on the game. Just like a movie preview

Exactly. Why put out a demo that isn't indicative of the final product?

I treat it like the final product because its 99% of it!!

        .....and i like the demo!

However if you are on the i hate the demo camp, i think their is 2 groups you belong in

        1. Your extremely talented madden player that can notice the very small differences between the demo and final (1 months tuning) and will be pleased with the final product or....

2.Someone who believes that their is going to be a huge difference between the two and complain about how it wasnt tuned properly

What do people think? Yay or Nay?

Because it is what the final game would look like. Point blank. I believe the only tweaks that aren't in the demo are the line tweaks...

We should expect more cutscenes, more commentary, and a lot more stuff that doesn't apply to the gameplay...

It's been the same way every year.

because how much can they change before the game comes out? its basicly the final product as far as gameplay goes, this is what we are getting.

That is not true at all. A video game demo is nothing like a movie trailer. A game demo's job is to give you a brief idea of what the game is about. I have never played a game demo that has fully represented the final build of any game.

The fact that the demo isn't the retail has me even more excited.

Some are..yes and some are just hating on the game just to hate it.. probably because they are expecting it to be a 2k game which its not, or set too high of expectations for a videogame, period. Im a 2k fan, i absolutely loved NFL2k5 but both games 2k5 and madden have their +'s and -'s...2k5/APF do things better then madden and madden does things better then 2k5/APF has...

Keep in mind there are people that will never be satisified and have a mental thing going on that requires them to put the game under the microscope to go glitch hunting.... yup "glitch hunting" or "glitch hunterz" its a new name i came up with just right now lol and is basically all they do..and then some even run off to make videos to show their results to the masses ..while some of their results are valid and understandable, most are not..

.... the sad end result of it all is that it brain washes others to do the same and can or will make gamers never to be happy again from that point on..trust me.....example..once you start smoking crack, you cant stop..well "glitch hunting" is exactly the same thing...its contagious and to me its ruining alot of peoples fun they should really be having with the game for what it is instead of taking every chance to put a game under the microscope..or having this mentality to always have one eye open for a glitch..you will never have fun being that way, you will never be happy being that way..and that my friends is the bottom line

Long story short..this is the end result bro, you got people unhappy no matter what kind of improvements are made..

Not to name any peeps out but i could go take NFL2k5 or APF and make a ton of video's of glitches and poor AI logic in those games if i wanted to..BECAUSE THEY DO HAVE THEIR FLAWS JUST LIKE MADDEN DOES..but i dont waste my time on that..i dont want to be responsible in ruining people's videogame hobby..like some others around here do by their constant negativity and videogame interrogating lol

PS: ever notice how some of these guys never..absolutely NEVER have anything positive to say? It speaks a thousand words, fellas

That statement doesn't hold water, sorry. A movie preview IS THE MOVIE. A video game demo IS NOT THE FINAL game, it's stripped. Will it change drastically, no, but the extra tuning and tweaking goes a long way especially when you are talking about a computer program. To hunt for glitches and get your panties in a bunch over a demo is borderline ********.

I saw some things I liked a lot in the demo, I also saw some same problems that were in 07, 08, and 09.

Bottom line: You most likely aren't going to notice any difference when the final build comes out. Yes, some tweaking and polishing were added but it's my guess that what you see is what you're going to get.
