wow, i could see techs but wonder why the nba wouldnt allow showing fans leaving. How about when theres 20 sec. left and the home team is up big?

Because they want their product to be represented in the best way possible. If you invest millions in marketing to convince people that going to an NBA game is the best entertainment possible, you dont want an official NBA product to show that it may not even be worth watching til the end...

I don't get it they allow it in the baseball games and I would really love to see it, but I guess it will never happen.

If I can recall, NBA Live 04, didn't have fans leaving, but low fan attendance in franchise mode if your team was not a big winning team. I guess they don't allow it now.

iirc they got a big slap on the wrist for it, similar to not abiding to the no player can be rated less than 25 in anything this past year

This is well and all from the NBA's standpoint, but from a realistic view, it kinda hinders EA. If they can't do that, I hope they've really nailed down true realistic crowd reaction. That way if a team really is stinkin' it up we don't get the same ruckus environment as if it was a nail-biter in the fourth. The best example of this I can think of was probably some 5 years ago when the Lakers were playing the Sonics in LA and were gettin' BLASTED in the first half. Staples must have booed forever...
