Would you guys be surprised if NCAA ends up being the better of the 2?

Madden had all the hype, I mean all the hype this year, and suddenly some ugly issues are popping up in previews. NCAA had little to no hype at all, there was hardly any news on the game. But as you all know, it turned out pretty darn good.

I will be very suprised. My expectations for madden were higher this year than any other year.

I haven't really seen any issues poping up. Everyone has been playing the demo and yes there are somethings wrong with it but, it's still a demo. NCAA demo had some issues and we see how that turned out.

To me it's all about gameplay and right now I can't stop playing the demo of Madden. I've touched NCAA10 twice in the past week. I haven't started a Dynasty because the huge progression issues. http://www.operationsports.com/forum...nplayable.html


So, to answer your questions. I don't think NCAA will even come close to being better that M10.

it won't be for me, NCAAs control and feel is 100x more sloppy than what i've played as the demo & seen in other videos of Madden. so i already know there won't be any surprises for me.

For me, no. I am a college football fanatic and will always have a slight lean towards NCAA ahead of Madden. Madden will have to blow my mind for me to play it more than 10% of my football gaming time. Just being honest.

For the gamer that doesn't favor one or the other, I would be a little surprised if Madden wasn't better than NCAA due to the number of new additions this year (Pro-TAK, presentations, QB ratings, wider range of ratings, etc).

Even if nothing changes I think the demo (despite some minor shortcomings) still has better gameplay over NCAA10. Barring something catastrophic, fingers crossed, it looks like we have a relatively solid NFL game coming to us in about 2 weeks.

i already like the demo gameplay a lot in madden and think its already a little better then ncaa.

The last build OS played of Madden they mentioned balls arent batted in the air like it is in NCAA10. That alone is a huge gameplay issue because that feature feels so fresh and authentic, bring lots more excitement to the game.

if madden comes out worse than NCAA then there is no hope for EA. NCAA has so many bugs/glitches, bad presentation and the annoying slow menus that hopefully this madden wont have

im not too excited for this madden, im still gonna rent it and enjoy it for a month or two but i highly doubt it will be worse than NCAA, so yea, i would be very surprised

^^^ This is how I feel. After playing the Madden Demo, it's hard for me to even play NCAA... so unless the retail version plays totally different (in a bad way) or there are game killing bugs in franchise mode or something, Madden will be much better than NCAA IMHO.

IMO, madden is still the best game, However I have found much enjoyment in NCAA football 10, sure there are some glitches but I really like the game and have been playing it more than the madden demo, I guess I am waiting for the release of madden,then I will put down ncaa for a while and play madden before occasionally returning to ncaa 10.

I will say this... Madden 10 better bring it this year, because I'm not much of a college football fan @ all, but I've been on that NCAA since it came out. I don't even want to play Madden 09 anymore it just feels boring.
