I think the way the camera shakes when you break into the open field on long TDs is horrible to look at. I don't think it's something I'd ever get used to.

Wasn't this only apart of the 'actioncam' package last year? If you switched to the default cam in Madden 09, you wouldn't get these special effects. -

I've asked this and got a resounding negative responce from the community. Appearently they love this Arcadish camera. I for one would love to see the option to turn it "off". However, I do not believe that such an option exists.Comment

It's not emulating anything...it's just some superficial effect they slapped on Madden 09. Again, this was only seen on the actioncam setting last year. I'm operating under the assumption that the actioncam is still in the game and that's the setting that the demo is on.Comment

thx - funny, the screen shake on big hits is something I don't have a problem with. Guess it's cool because otherwise it's difficult to "feel" I've actually delivered a big hit in the demo without it. But the breakaway camera is groan-inducing, especially when combined with the lumbering ball carrier animation. Can give you a great answer as to why I like the action running cam and the action hitting cam(if that's what they are called). But I guess I can say it gives a little bit of an added "feeling" to the current play. Not sure if that makes sense.

I hate this shaky breakaway cam. It looks ridiculous and goes against their goal of TV presentation.
They say they want to emulate what we see on Sundays. I don't see the camera doing that when I watch games.Comment
