Kings of Queens: 2009 New York Mets MLB 09 The Show

Johan Santana. David Wright. Jose Reyes. Carlos Beltran. These are some of the biggest names in baseball. They are all on my roster for the upcoming season as I plan to bring the Mets their third World Series championship. I will give updates on all games, transactions, injuries, etc. I am using Knight's full minors opening day rosters and am on veteran diffuculty.

God said that there should be stars in the night sky. And they were good. But then He took one of them and slapped it on to a football hellmet. They were better.

Johan spins gem in 1-0 extra inning win.

Johan Santana pitched 10 1/3 innings last nite against the Reds as he and the Mets wriggled away from the Red Machine. Santana was perfect through 5 and had a no hitter into the seventh. David Wright hit a homer in the top of the eleventh to break the 0-0 tie. That was the game winner. Francisco Rodriguez picked up save number one on the campaign as he struck out Brandon Phillips, Paul Janish, and Willy Taveras in order to shut the door.
