I have no problem with people thrashing the game. I DON"T CARE AT ALL! But if you have a comment about my comment about the game. Then it is game on! That is all I mean. If you want to slam the game great, but if I say I like it and you quote me. Then you better be ready for a friendly debate. Any ways you have your group that love this game and you have your group that hate this game. Sound like the world to me. I will say one thing at least some people can word things more mature than others. I mean come on the "corn flakes thing" Really? Really now?

Its sad the NHL forums have a unfair biase at times reguardless of likes or dislikes or even quality of games which is all opinion anyway.
And the Bottom line if anything like the last few pages here happen in the EA forum well you know what would happen and thats just not fair IMO for people to be able crap here directly or creativly indirectly is wrong.

You spend a lot of time crapping directly or indirectly on every forum on OS, just as I do. What are you talking about?

I honestly wish people here would stop with the accusation/pointing fingers stuff. The Show forum is barely worth visiting anymore given nobody can say boo about that game without Sheriff Sarcastic and his posse behaving like 9 year old playground bullies in their defense of the game. People should be free to comment without having to defend why they like/dislike the game.

I never get why people go out of their way to blast 2k hockey. If 2k hockey goes away, EA hockey will never see any more improvements. Sports games with no competition are usually mediocre... at best.

I haven't bought a baseball game in many years, and I stay clear of football now as well.

Of course people shouldn't support 2k hockey just "because", but maybe people could give it a fair shot, as they could significantly improve this year.

there's a difference between not wanting 2k hockey to be good and recognizing when the game isn't good and hasn't had much effort put into it.

i hope 2k10 is awesome but i don't see how people think that's going to be the case when the track record says otherwise. they have released practically nothing about the game which is red flag #1. whenever i read the the 2k developers talking about their past version of the game they sound far less enthusiastic about them than a lot of the posters in this forum, which is strange.

Thanks for supporting my point I mean why should the show get more protection than say mlb 2k9 reguardless of the overall opinion .

Just saying treat every game equally and this site would be a better place for opinions and information .

I speak of my honest opinions only if I buy the game and play it quite a bit then I mention my likes and dislikes .

I agree, way too much bashing allowed here under the fake "I owned 2003 to 06 and I want it to get better". If those who hate 2k hockey just stayed away from this forum it would definitely improve.

Yes, but Kush released 3 of them. VC has released 2K9 and yes it was flawed and incomplete, but it was their building block for rebuilding the series. Given that the graphics have greatly improved for 2K10, in fact they best they have looked for the 360/PS3, I would say there's reason for a little optimism. I mean VC accomplished bettter graphics in two years than Kush could ever accomplish. I'm sure the gameplay will follow suit.

Others have just as much right to state their displeasure with the series as you do to state your man crush for 2k. If you can't handle what forums are for stop reading right now and go hug your copy of 2k9. Seriously dude noone has an agenda, we genuinely want the series to get better.

I'll give them a pass on 2K9, but I believe going forward that polish will improve and I think 2K10 is showing that, at least graphically so far. Oh and I don't think polish just concerns graphics.

You're just as guilty as anyone Eddie...accusing others of having "agendas", etc. Everyone is entitled to express their opinion just like you are. You have a serious problem with anyone who posts any negative criticism on this game...without good AND bad feedback this series would spin its wheels in place and never move forward. Let it go and try to keep things on topic.

In an effort to get things on topic, it's great to see some news finally trickle out on the game. We're starting to see videos, interviews, screen shots, etc. which is a very good thing. If the game truly makes some strides to get back to its sim-style roots, this series could finally be getting back on track.

NHL09 is considered beautiful (and I like the gfx) but they have oversized players, the jersey are not fitted like reebok jerseys, and they all are stocky built. Animations are nice but limited, alot of faces are way off. But NHL2k10 trailer showed players with more realistic proportions(goalies are a bit small on the legs though), nice textures and the skating looked good animation wise. Yet people slammed it ?

I don´t care much though, EA has always had it easier to to their inherited fanbase since the 16-bit era. I remember the thunderpuck forum days, the EA fanboys were in truckloads over there and pretty much nailed any game that wasn´t EA stamped.

Just relax guys and take it for what it is. NHL10 will be a solid game, I just wish there will be 2 good hockey games this year. Because 2K do deliver another flavour to the table, just as they have since NHL2k2. 2k9 was halfbaked, so I am hopeful they can be back to a better standard this year.

Engine imitations? I just love when people outside the industry "know" and "enlighten" people at forums. 99,9% sure... pshhh

Btw NHL2k5 looked awesome, was awesome and had great polish, it also had the best PBP - which EA took later ( the PBP guys) And oh, it was made by KUSH.

Stop the Kush hating crap, NHL2k5 is one of the best hockey games ever- Made by Kush. End of story.
