no cpu vs cpu in franchise (EDIT: YES YOU CAN)
According to Steve from here you can't spectate in franchise mode. What a bummer. I use this feature a lot in the class I teach. Too bad I was really looking forward to using next gen instead of updating the pc version. Still going to buy because I will play it, just sucks for my sports marketing class projectTags: None -

Re: no cpu vs cpu in franchise
I do a huge unit on the nfl in my sports marketing class. Each group drafts 10 players and they do an essay of why they drafted the players. Then they have to create a team media guide, website, etc to market their team. Each friday we watch a game of the week. The kids love it. So for the comment about watching real football, I do. I would not watch cpu vs cpu unless it it is for my sports marketing class.Comment

Wow, cool idea man. Good to see there are some creative teachers out there!I do a huge unit on the nfl in my sports marketing class. Re: no cpu vs cpu in franchise
Again, I don't see this in either Q&A. I just went and skimmed through them. A link would be much appreciated. This is where I saw it
"Steve_OS @ Aug 2 (9 Hours Ago) I've been getting a lot of emails on this one, so I figured I'd throw it out there.
You can't spectate a franchise game, you can only play them or sim them. This does include teams you don't control."Comment

Re: no cpu vs cpu in franchise
Guess we are just going to have to wait until the game is out as no one really seems to know the answer. I am hopeful though that they did not remove this option as it is cool to watch the cpu vs the cpu in franchise and has been an option for quite a few years now.NFL: 49ers
NHL: Devils
MLB: MetsComment
