Shaun Hill isn't even going to start this year so that ratings argument is moot

This is the Martz whoever is my butt buddy will start O anymore. Whoever wins will be the QB and Smith has been a proven bust who can not read a D. No matter how good they say he is in camp once he takes a real snap he will do what he always does throw bad passes into coverage.

I really wanted Smith to do well but it just has not word, I was one of the guys on board excited when we got him. He was a great passer with a running ability. Somehow no matter what O cord was there they never let the guy take off and get us first downs. In his one solid year I remember one play where he beat the whole Seahawks D to the corner and ran for like a 20 yrd TD. Another thing the only thing that bailed his passes out that season was Antonio Bryant who if Sing was coach would have kept him and reshaped him then we wouldnt have even needed to draft Crabtree.

No chance Hill starts this year, Smith has been killing him in camp

Hill has never been a good practice player. He has great vision and can pick apart a D with his accuracy. The only time he makes the mistakes is when he has a huge D end on his back, but he is still a shifty pocket guy. That is what Smith should be with his speed but he runs right into the pressure.

That is beside the point entirely even if you think Hester isn't so good how can Earl Bennett be better than him and Rashied Davis catch better than him. You are not arguing that because you know that would be a ridiculous argument. Say what you will about Hester the WR but there is no doubt he is better than Earl Bennett and can catch better than Rashied Davis.

And on your point, Forte had the most catches on the team last year largely because Orton repeatedly checks down due to his lack of downfield accuracy.

The one that bugs me isn't Hill, it's Huard. Huard has a 58 OVR rating in Madden. I know he's 3rd string, and that's probably pretty standard for 3rd string QBs (and nobody cares because they're third string), but Huard has proved himself in ways that Smith and Hill have not. The guy is down the depth chart because he's 35 so they know the future lies elsewhere, not because he's a terrible QB.

Ray Lewis may not be in his prime any more but he WAS a first-team all pro last year. And the guy is 34, not 40. We know his skills are going to drop off a cliff sometime, but they haven't yet. If you had a team for 5 years, obviously you'd rather have Willis. But for a single year? I don't think that's an easy call at all -- 178 games of experience counts for something.

Regarding LT, I suspect he's right. Anything is possible -- Curtis Martin and Tiki Barber both had success past age 30... But this is about the age that RBs fall off drastically, and given the injuries last season... I hope SD splits time more evenly and cut down on the punishment LT takes.

As a Titans' fan, I believe that Leinart and Young are rated exactly where they should be. Neither has done anything in the last 2 years to warrant a higher rating. Shaun Hill, however, should be rated in the mid-upper 70's. He's underrated, and has proven he knows how to win.

Tomlinson got a great break, as I believe he is on the way to slowly fading away, like Jamal Lewis of Cleveland. Jamal Lewis used to be an intimidating force to tackle like Marion Barber, but now he's just another back. Ray Lewis is slightly overrated, but the low 90's with 99 AWR would be just about right.

I'm a Redskins Fan and I agree with Campbells rating, as long as he not sucky in the game, I'll be Ight with it .. But he might get a rating boost by alot if he plays good after week 8 ...
