Re: NBA 2K10 Screenshots (Gamespot)
No I think the game looks good just doesn't look that much improved from last year. These are probably from an earlier build of the game anyway. The graphics are good enough though. They probably can't get that much better on this generation of platforms. I want to see what else they have in store. Graphics+gameplay+presentation=a good game.E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES

Now Kobe looks not only like Gary Payton but now a Dinosaur based on that one screenshot. I wish people would make their intentions known from the beginning instead of pretending like they give a damn.

i agree the graphics are good enough for me....shyt i still remember being blown away by 2k5 graphics.......but if wat 2k is saying in the gamespot preview is executed right this will be a great game, i'm kinda glad live is (according to what i've heard, havent checked any of the info myself) getting better. 2k may have recognized this and worked harder on making a better product. I personally think the got a little lazy with 2k9 and still managed to make a solid game. 2k10 is looking like a whole nother beastComment

i need to see gameplay as 2k9 was cheese city with the dunk steals, the stand in the paint and dunk all day with the center, the canned super crossover animation that sucks u in etc.. these features don't really do anything for me. the screenshots look just like last year. nothing really new here to see. i need to see gameplay. will the guy with the ball just take off back court due to lack of responsiveness in control. and will quickshots be in the game i don't want to see a jump shot that takes 3 secs to get off when there is 1 sec left on the clock, yeah they can add all those animations but will it just be a pretty game in terms of animations or will they give control back to the users.Comment

Re: NBA 2K10 Screenshots (Gamespot)
Look!! I am a fan of both games. I didn't come in here to troll. I buy both game every year. I play both games no matter how bad one game is. I buy both because I am a basketball fan, and I can't choose between one game or the other. I know it's only one screenshot, but I am just stating the obvious. The game sounds good by the sound of the preview and I intend on buying it and continuing to buy it.E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES

Re: NBA 2K10 Screenshots (Gamespot)
True that.
I also think they need to give the mascots more sig animations as well. I want some differentiation between Benny the Bull and Rocky. It's been too long that all the mascots have done the same damn thing. Individualizing the mascots will take this game to another level, IMHO.
They said they mo-capped a lot more animations, so hopefully some were applied to the mascots.

This man gets it. We are talking about real basketball issues here people. Who cares if spacing was seemingly addressed, or if signature style was expanded upon, or if they teamed up with the next best thing to synergy in 82games. Hell, not me. The molecular structure of the cheerleaders/mascots is just not up to par with any other next-gen game and until it is I'm out. PEACE.E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES

Re: NBA 2K10 Screenshots (Gamespot)
why hasn't anyone commented on this gem
Other defensive improvements include a better sense of physical play when leaning in on a guy, as well as double-team situations that aren't just canned animations, as they were in previous games. When double-teaming a ball handler, you'll have more control over what you do as you harass the guy. If playing online, one half of a double-team duo might try a steal, while the other keeps his hands up to block a potential shot. Essentially, you won't be waiting for a double-team animation to end--you'll be interacting within it and trying to make a play.Comment
