    Create A Player (CAP) ratings

I tried all around looking for this thread/post. It has all the rating for creating a player.

    Examples:

    4.24 in the forty = 94 speed

3.24 in the three cone drill = 93 agility

    225 bench press 20 times = 93 strength

These are all examples I know the thread is here please help me out. I seen the one for forty times but it's another one out there with all this info.

Here's a chart I came up with that could help with making C.A.P.s.

Feel free to edit so it's more realistic because, I was only trying to be frank.

quick thought-maybe bump the 40 times back just a bit...at least depending on what 40 times you are looking at/how many 99s you want. in the nfl combines history only 1 person(chris johnson in 08) ran a 4.25 and under

other than that it looks pretty awesome thanks!

          I believe Johnson ran a 4.28

Anyway, here are some charts I made. Tell me what you think.

Since it is difficult to get information on QB Arm Strength, the best thing you can do is look at the common terminology in the scouting reports for QBs, and I came up with this.

          Arm Strength

          Exceptional 95+
          Very Good 92-94
          Good 89-91
          Above Avg. 86-88
          Average 83-85
          Below Avg. 79-82

Dang! I guess every quarterback in the game has a 200 throw power rating!!!

no i just looked again it was a 4.24...but thats irrelevant

i guess what im trying to say is why dont you look at from the group available kind of....like how many 99s do you want. or how exclusive do you want it.

cause with the bar set a 4.3 and under you are only gonna have 1 or 2 99s and 2 or 3 98s-95s....which is ok i was just wondering how exclusive you want it.

Very exclusive. There should be very few guys with 95+ speed ratings. This is part of the problem with progression because speed is much more of a factor this year in overall ratings. Not to mention, there are very few guys that run better than a 4.4 40.

I have been using NFL Draft Scout. They seem to be pretty reliable. You can also use Rivals.

This would be more for the NFL evaluation process for future draft picks. I didn't see any current player results for college players listed from either NFL Draft Scout or Rivals. Am I looking in the right place or do you need premium services to get this information? I think we're looking for the results of current college player combine data. Thanks!

If you want their 40 time, here is a good place to start: http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings...SC&startspot=0

From there, you can change the year they will be coming out and go to whatever position you are looking for. From some guys I have researched, the information is pretty reliable when compared with other sources.

For Rivals what I do is just go to google and type in the player name and rivals. For example, Jahvid Best Rivals would give me this page as the first result: http://www.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?pr_key=52772

It only shows the 40 time for Best but other players you look for may have bench press reps, etc. Do the same with NFL Draft Scout and Scout.com. Player Name NFL Draft Scout/Scout.com
