why do my players automatically wear those long white (grey) sleeves even though i edited thier appearance

My understanding is that in cold weather, everyone wears long sleeves. The only thing you control is the color, which sux if you play as a cold-weather team like Michigan.

the thing is, its not every player only 10 - 15

You should have done a search. The gray sleeves thing is a glitch and it won't be fixed in the patch. Adam says artwork cannot be fixed in a patch. Yeah it sucks that they made such an obvious mistake but they made worse ones with this game that we hope will be addressed.

if the white was actually white then i wouldn't care but i hate when i see o-linemen wearing sleeves bc they don't

You mean you don't like how when you select "no sleeves" the game overrides you and makes your players wear gray sleeves?

This is a typical NCAA EA thing, I hate to say it but they always do this kind of thing. I just wonder how this got through QC and testing along with the hoard of other conspicuous things? Mind boggler huh....?

Wait,

I can't remember what team it was that I played tonight. Their kicker had black long sleeves. There has to be a way to overide the grey sleeves.

Sure is, but then everyone will be wearing black sleeves. You simply select all of your players to wear black sleeves. However, it looks pretty silly when it's 82 degrees and sunny.
