which team?

hey
im a madden fan .. ive been buying it since 05, the problem is im from australia and i dont really support a nfl team that much

so im just wondering wat team i should use in madden 10 ?
i dont want a team like the patriots or a team like the lions.. i like a team with good defence and a decent running back ..
any suggestions?

oakland raiders...they have alot of speed all over the field & 3 good RBs

IMO the Panthers have one of if not the best running back tandems in the league at the moment..thats my opinion so noone bash me on that lol

Their defense was good at the beginning of the season but just died towards the end. Its decent at best. Pretty good passing game as well.


If not them I would probably go with the Vikings. Good D imo....and theres no denying the running game they have.

Giants, Vikings, Titans all have strong running games and good defenses.

Steelers and Ravens are also both famous for extremely tough defenses and run-heavy offenses.

Falcons and 49ers both have good running games and some good players on defense but some serious defensive weaknesses too.

Panthers scored more rushing TDs than anybody last year :-) Williams and Stewart are both young too, they could be deadly for several years with those two if they can hold on to them both.

Cowboys. Big bruising running back in Barber and lightning fast back in Jones. Plus one of the best pass rushing linebacker in the game in Demarcus Ware.

LOL the raiders was one of the worst teams last year. Yea they may have speed. But really don't have no big time players with talent. Go with the panthers. The have one of the best oline in the league along with two of the best RBs currently in the league aswell. With a good solid QB and a Big time WR in steve smith. Carolina D is not great but good. So I would say go with the panthers.:wink:

That site gives great scouting reports on the strengths, weaknesses and personalities of each team. The videos are annoying but show the ridiculousness of the evasion engine (how QBS evade sacks and RBs power thru 5 man gang tackles)
