How fast is the accelerated clock? Is 7 minutes accelerated equal to 5 minutes accelerated?

It usually stops at 12 or 13 secs, and if you go under that, it doesn't run off no more

I wont be buying Madden new this year if accelerated clock is on. Pathetic. Ill just wait to buy it used i guess.

Im buying it, just not new like I said.

Accelerated clock for online games is for people who run base plays and dont substitute. I dont feel like getting quick hiked and moneyplayed all year long and thats exactly wht accelerated clock produces online.

For the computer, its fine, but I dont play the computer.

stop whining 80% of madden player love acceleration clock. 7 min qauter with acceleration clock is perfect.

That is a stupid reason not to buy the game. You could play unranked with your friends, online franchise, or even start your own...

I play online with friends and it will be without accelerated clock. I dont need to buy it new because we play season games on the week that they are played. Season doesnt start for a while. My other time is spent in practice mode and playing ranked games and I will not be playing ranked games this year.

Im not into fantasy football aka franchise mode.

we play our seasons with the normal sliders and updated rosters.

So sad they want to leave accel clock on. I heard on All Madden elite they left accel clock off so that is all I will play. Even 7 min with accel suks it doesnt equal or come close to normal 5 min quarters. So SAD!!

How exactly does the accelerated clock affect your ability to substitute? I can't see how that is a factor at all. I've been playing ranked online all day and I substitute, both on offense and defense.

The runoff is also at 15 seconds, which means you have more than enough time to make adjustments at the line. The original 5 minute settings w/ the longer runoff was terrible, but there is nothing preventing you from doing anything you want with the current settings.
