Thanks...Now I can start the online franchise with that in mind...Looks like no Vick for our league. I can't wait till he signs and then wait till EA adds him. That could be week 2 or 3...Oh well

Thanks for posting this... Why would they do that? If he's a free agent, why not add him to the free agent list? It doesn't hurt anything. It'll just let people add him to their franchises if they want to. What's the harm in that?

That makes absolutely NO sense at all. You don't add him, yet you have Marvin Harrison in there who won't be signed period. The guy has been REINSTATED in the NFL, which makes him a FREE AGENT, which there already is a pool of players in Madden.

I agree... My guess is they did it to make online franchises fair, but it's still crappy for people who do offline franchises I think.

It might be a moot point, Dungy says he thinks he will sign this week. If so, maybe that will make it into the first roster update.

So if he's allowed to sign with a team right now being a free agent, then why wouldn't he be in the Free Agent pool in the game?
