    Franchise fantasy draft is CRAZY

I simulated just to see what would happen, and there were all kinds of ridiculous selections. Fitzgerald and Asomugha were the top 2 picks which was fine. Things kind of fell apart in round 2 from a logic standpoint. 38yr old centers were being drafted. Average players were going 4 rounds of ahead of studs like Merriman, Forte, and Calvin and Chris Johnson. It was just weird all the way through. You could always figure out what the computer was basing their selections on in the past, but this year I have no clue.

Salary cap should not have an influence in the second round... especially when dealing with players in their upper thirties.

This is disappointing to me. Usually, when I get a new madden. I do a franchise with my team that I use in online ranked games. Then after one year of that, I create a team and do a fantasy draft and keep that franchise rolling. And I play ranked games online as well.

Weird. That's a bit of a downer, though it seems like fantasy drafting has been pretty weak in general in Maddens past, but that's just odd. Might it at least be different in multiple simulations?

I tried it 3 times just to check and see if it was a fluke. Its a ridiculous draft.....its hard to even explain b/c there is just no way that the picks make any sense whatsoever.

Very very dissspointing to hear. With the improved draft and fa logic you wonder how this could take a step back.

How did the final rosters turn out?

It's probably just totally random. If the teams end up with the right number of players at each position, it still works, even if it looks funny while the draft is running. Maybe they did it that way so the user has a better chance of landing more star players (at the expense of having no depth due to salary cap issues, of course).

Now if the teams are coming out with 9 WRs or 3 kickers and no FB or whatever, then it's a problem.

Yeah, that what I want to know.

Considering that in Madden 09 you had 80 players rated 93+ where in Madden 10 you only got 35. So considering if you did a fantasy draft most of those players would be gone by the second round. And I'm estimating since there is not many 90+ rated players they should all be gone by the 4th round.

Someone who has the game, if they have time, please detail you fantasy draft.
