    G2thecore's custom sliders

Ok fellas, I've been playing around with sliders for a couple of days now. I had to make a few adjustments here and there before I got any satisfactory results. They're not perfect, but I've had some great stats with these.

Thanks to Bill2451 and others for all the help with these new sliders. They may look a little wacky at first, but try em' out and please post stats. Thank you.

I'd say it's more fair. On All-Pro the CPU seems to be almost automatic on passes, and you can barely even touch the QB's. With these sliders, the game is still a little challenging, but you don't feel cheated.

The CPU gains yards on the ground (providing they're a good running team), and you can still pressure the QB. You have to make good reads on offense, or you will get picked off. Which is evident in my stats, McNabb threw 3 picks. They were all legit, I made some bad decisions and paid for them.

Give em a try, and you let me know.

        Re: G2thecore's custom sliders

I will try them latest by the weekend, but they look good to me.

INT 25 for CPU seems to be the new standard, got good results with these.

CPU qb acc seems a bit low, but from my findings, QB acc, WR catching and Pass Deff (in this case Human's) are closely related and we have to find a good ratio between these.

If the CPU gets to much time in the pocket, the passes are like automatic...if pass rush is too high, they can't find anything.

From my findings, a good balance is between Human Pass rush 80-90, CPU pass block 35-50, and QB acc 40-50.

Also with a high HUMAN pass rush, the Human INT should be lowered a bit.

        I have Fumbles at 48/52 (Human/CPU).
Furthermore, the game speed is crucial for the sliders IMO.

        NBA: Celtics, Bulls, Supersonics

Thanks bro, I'll consider your advices.

I lowered the CPU accuracy because I noticed high completion percentages on anything above 40. And being that it's so hard to get a pass rush (even on 80 sometimes), I don't like seeing the QB sitting in the pocket for 8 seconds.

I'll probably lower the HUMAN interceptions like you said, but I didn't notice anything out of place with the current rating. J. Campbell threw 2 picks because of bad throws. Otherwise, I had a couple other dropped ones, so I like them the way they are.

Give em a try as is, and let me know what you think. If a change is needed, I'll be glad to do it.

                  Re: G2thecore's custom sliders

Ok I had to make a lot of changes to these sliders mainly because of the CPU running game. I had a game tonight against ATL, and Michael Turner had a very poor performance. On 12 carries he only rushed for 22 yards....That's 1.8 yards per carry!

I also made a lot of changes to the HUMAN passing, for some reason it just felt too easy to pass the ball. I subbed Kevin Kolb in the game in the 4th, and he went 5-6 and 98 yards 83% against the ATL defense. Not to mention McNabb also went 11-12 139 yds and 2 TD's. I didn't pass the ball much because Westbrook was unstoppable in this one, 22 carries 188 yds 2 TD's including a 67 yarder that he took to the house. I also raised HUMAN rushing to 10.

I upped the CPU passing accuracy because there were a lot of questionable throws by Ryan, throws that he should make.

Of course, the HUMAN pass rush is still a slight issue. I doubt we'll be able to increase sacks, until they release a patch to solve the CPU QB's throwing the ball away so fast. I increased that a little bit just to help, and I dropped the CPU pass blocking.

Anyways, let me know how the new set plays. Thanks again guys.

I'm gonna give your sliders a bash when I get my copy today

I've been looking at the numerous other threads on sliders and noticed you tried those ones out. Did you use other ones to begin with and then adjusted them to your liking, creating your own set?

G2, I plan on giving your sliders a go when I snag my copy at midnight. I'm not a hardcore football guy so for me I'm just looking for something that will challenge me with my probable poor skills compared to alot of other folks. I'll let ya know how it goes, thanks for posting these.

No problem guys, I appreciate the feedback. I'm just trying to get some realistic stats, and a little bit of challenge at the same time. I'm not looking to be frustrated by the CPU, but I also don't want to blow them out either.

With these sliders, I've seen close games, and I've had shootouts. Please try these out, and post some stats, as I'm still trying to improve them.

                            Once again, thanks fellas.

I tried some of the other ones, and they were either waaayyy too hard or way too easy.

With the ones I created, it's right in between. Give em a shot, let me know.
