Scrambling out of the wildcat??

Am i the only one when calling a pass out of the wildcat that cant scramble??

I barely have time to throw the ball, yet alone scramble. Its like the whole line falls apart. Aside from that, I like the wildcat and love the game.

i couldn't even PASS on a wildcat passing play once, haha. ronnie was in a throwing stance, but no WR button faces came up. can't scramble either. they need to patch that.

i find the wildcat running plays with Ronnie and Ricky to be very effective. i don't think I'll ever need to use those passing plays.

I was just messing around with Miami in practice mode to check it out and i was like WTF i cant scramble!!! Baffling.

But other than that i really like the game

Then another thing was in the Trips Over package there was a Fake Jet Sweep pass, and i threw it to Pennington because the play looked like it was to be a double pass, and he catches it but no passing icons came up for the 2nd pass.

That would be cool. The play looked like it was designed for a double pass. I know for a fact its not chad on a WR screen lol.

Ya I noticed this when practicing with Dallas and Miami Dolphins playbook. Needs to be patched. I plan on drafting Robert Griffin III to help me run this offense. That's why I was exploring Miami's playbook. Dallas only has 3 wildcat plays, all runs.

nope you can't scramble...they did this to prevent cheesing so when vick comes he will be forced to passed... you can scramble if you walk pass the LOS though but online the user will pick it up faster than cpu

Bah! This has been driving me nuts. That was probably my favorite play to watch run out of the Wildcat last year, and now I can't run it! There must be some way to fix it - I mean, why would you have the QB take a step back behind the line of scrimmage if the purpose wasn't to allow for a double pass?!
