Where they taken out of the game or they just don't have it as an option in the demo?

They're in the demo. Just have to sort through some menus. Once you press starts, it'll give you an options menu where you can change controller configuration and switch to classic, which is what I play on.

Is classic still missing a few options that default has, like poke check, or was it sweeping your stick? Anyway, is it a complete classic control?

I believe it's exactly the same as last year.

I'd like to make the switch to default, but I'm old school, and old habits are hard to break.

I'm with ya man. I just wanna play and enjoy the game. I don't have to feel like I'm Crosby out there doing it all.

But thats just me.

I think last year they patched the classic controls so that you could do everything from default with that control scheme.

i prefer classic as well but i would also like everything to be incoperated into those classic controls, which i am sure they are not so maybe ill try default??I have before and it felt very odd??

If thats true they should be complete out of the box this year I'd imagine.

Yes, last year, they released a patch on the ps3 version that allowed you to stick lift (Pressing down on R3). I forgot what else the patch made possible for you to do.

No they didn't.

Also they need to fianlly allow custom controls, because I would like to add board pinning and puck dumping to classic controls, which I use.

It sucks that classic controls can't use boardplay now too this year.
