Thanks for your patience.
The upgrade is complete, but you've probably noticed the forums are only showing posts up to about April 8. Posts made after that are still in the process of being moved over, and that should take another week or two. Feel free to start a new thread.
The site might feel a little slow while work continues. Engineers are staying on it through the night to get things moving faster again. Thanks for your patience.
Don't post over here as much as ya'll regs do but this year's Live is/has been starting to catch my attention. From the Presentation Videos and now this video that just dropped, for the first time in a looooooooooong time, I am actually looking forward to this game and seeing what it's all about.
Gonna be a reallllllllllllllll busy Sports Gaming year for me this fall with Live 10, 2K10, Madden 10, and FIFA 10 lol.
It looks ok, but they made the black hair look to shiny/glossy and it does't look real. I liked it better in motion, the still shots dont really do any justice.
Welcome to the OS Blueprint. I love that signature !!!
@23 yeah he wiped his brow man. game is looking very much improved. i am really feeling this constant flow of information as well. wonder what will drop tomorrow.
The vid was cool but I noticed a couple things that bothered me like Nelson and Calderon just totally flailing block attempts which were CPU controlled, at that. I could see it being user controlled and someone mistimes a block or what have u yet I would like to see more ball/player contextual animations relating to the rebound attempts and blocks.
Overall, I have really liked what I've seen of this game, to date. Keep it up, EA!
I agree sage but that does bring up another issue. if you going to give users absolute control like that where they can do anything because they are not locked into an animation. They should be punished for performing non basketball moves.
like in that instance the actual play should be called a travel. but if he hesitates a moment and allows that last bounce before the step back then its a good move.
I was playing Lakers vs Bulls on the genesis last night and they "allowed" you to move after you picked up your dribble but its a travel call. Just thinking out loud tho. may not be doo able
Looking very strong Marcus, I'm really impressed so far.
I'm still amazed at the game's lightning. Somebody talked about polly counts a while ago...man oh man, I'm a big fan of both games, heck, I even buy Sony's game every year. There's no way the 2K10 screenshots released yesterday on IGN can keep up with the Melo shot. Sorry, 2K10 may still hold its title as the best b-ball game this year although it's definetely up for grabs, but those Kobe's screenshots are hideous.
Anyways, any word from Santos about the Magic jersey?
