personally i like the trailer. from what is saw the gameplay looks good and the animations looked like they were easy to control(seemed like player knew what he wanted to do and did it) also the 2 dunks the players hands did not go through the rim. Once this comes out 2k will focus on info for 2k10. The midrange pull up was spot on without the gather step and the defense looked okay(not enough for an opinion).\

Also it seems like 2k has done this the past few years where they wait till September to release any gameplay vids while live has their whole game out there to sell their product early. Just wait till 2k starts releasing vids..

Is it me or does it look like dominate hand usage is prevalent in these combine vids.

The animations in this game are SICK.

I just hope they finally cleaned up the rampant warping/clipping and made it harder to score in the paint, otherwise it's going to be the same old garbage gameplay they've had for the last couple of years.

Seeing as how nba live wasn't anywhere near as complete of a basketball simulation as nba 2k was last year, I find it funny how so many people could be so pessimistic about 2k10 and so optimistic about nba live 10. I also Wonder why so many people who hated 2k9 and loved nba live 09 so much even post on the nba 2k forums to start with since nba live does have it's own forum.

I find this funny myself, I've seen so many people say how bad 2k9 was and that 2k took a step back. For me I enjoyed the game even with its flaws, but over time 2k has put out some good basketball games. On the flip side Live has been down, even last year I was thinking that 2k got better sales and was reviewed better than Live 09...im sure I will corrected if im wrong. But even if 2k9 is as bad to people as some say it was one year. Whats also funny is how some people have said oh the hustle plays look so much better than what 2k9 had last year....umm well isn't it much much better than what Live had last year? Shouldn't we wait to see how they handle plays like this in 2k10 before its judge who did what better? Now all that being said I will admit that Live is looking much better this year, and im liking that cause hopefully 2k will feel pressure to put out better games for its fans and im definately one of them. That Draft Combine vid was really good, can't wait for next week to start working on my baller. Will hold me nicely till 2k10

im lovin draft combine right now, i love the sound of the rims especially cause in all the past 2ks since 2k7 it sounded like the ball was hittin a cynderblock but the net even sonds good... 1 concern... How many minuets r we going to play in the draft combine games... if its less than 6 min. quarters ill be a lil disapointed... netherless excited for wesdays download

hmm still very bad ,unrealistic animation of run dribble (ball straight down like there is no forward movement durig run and absolutly no feel of momentum during change of direction,normal cross,no footplant,no animation That improvement would change the floor game drasticly The biggest thing i wait for 2k in 6 years of playing it) way better fadaway animation ,still a little stiff wrist after the shot ,finally the hand touch the rim during dunks giving it stronger feel? please hire me 2k as a tester ,fundamental gameplay disigner Or just have some atttention of ball animation during dribbling,rotation ,etc

I agree with others here that 2K's animations look much more natural and fluid than EA's. I'm willing to give Live a shot this year but I expect 2K to still be the No 1 basketball game. I prefer 2K's player models and net, rim, and ball physics as well.

couldn't have said it better myself. AND this is only a brushed up version of 2K9! Hopefully the finished product of 2K10 will look this good when it comes to the animations or maybe even BETTER!
