I did this with the file I just finished, and found that some sacrifices had to be made... With the big one being agility, which effects DBs overall rating too much if you lower it by a large amount...
But still, I see good statistical results, even if there is some quirkiness to the action on the field.
I just don't think you can have all three: overall ratings, fluid and realistic looking on-field action, and realistic statistics.
