Thankfully they went back to default "slow". Plays and looks better this way. You will get used to it.

I took it off slow after about half a game because it was like playing high school football in relation to the pro game.

before this change madden 10 was a 10, now its a 4 or 5

If they go back to the old gameplay speed I would sell mine, it is much more realistic and about as fast as it gets in the NFL. Everyone got used to the unrealistic speed of Madden 09 and now they are mad it is finally at a realistic speed it had my passing all screwed up, and sometimes still does but I am not going to say the slow gameplay speed was a bad idea, it is one of the better ideas they have had...Give it a chance, get used to the flow of the new speed and you will find that it is better

hang in there. I'm usually a .500 player online and started off 0-9 but have won 6 of the last 8. The game is different but still a good game.

I'm still waiting for NCAA to drop on eBay. The price is remaining higher this year for some reason. I wonder if the sales are down or more people are turning to the eBay / used option for NCAA. Usually when Madden drops you can get it for $25 (average price) but it's not near there yet. I won't buy Madden used until it hits close to that price either. I can't justify the purchase until I see a game worthy of the current generation consoles and though the team made a really good effort this year, they still have a ways to go. If Ian stays as lead and the team stays focused on the gameplay, I think they'll get there in another couple of years.

The speed of the game is a matter of opinion; everyone is entitled to their's; mine is exactly the opposite - I think slowing down the game speed is the single best decision EA made for Madden 10; great job and great decision by EA in my opinion.

You can change the gamespeed in offline modes; I suppose you should be able to online as well.

People complain about anything they can, last year Madden was way too fast and this year its way too slow...I agree that M10's slow speed is great.
