Just when I thought drafting was easy

I struck out on 5 of my 7 picks. I drafted 2 OLs, 2 DTs, and 1 HB based off of the Pentagon and limited scouting. Each one were in the 60s with either D or F Potential. This happened when my first 2 drafts were nothing but stellar with 5-6 picks in the 70-80s with either A or B Potential. I like the randomness to it

My only complaint is that it seems that the CPU doesn't deviate too far from the projected draft order. So the likelihood of the CPU of getting all gems and avoiding any busts is pretty remote.

I wish there were some teams that were awesome at discovering talent like the Colts or Pats and some teams that are just awful at it like the Bungles. Another step beyond that would be to create drafting tendencies for each club. As an example, Chicago is great at finding RBs and MLB while Pittsburg is awesome at finding rush OLBs.

Anyway, I am glad that EA put some focus on franchise this year. I find it more enjoyable than in years past.

That's what I was thinking. I think if anything, Angelo is great at finding hurt players. Look at Grossman, Benson, Chris Williams and Dvoracek.
