    All-Pro default Sliders

Am i the only one to enjoy default all-pro with Normal Speed and Threshold at 50 ?
Playing 15mn quarters, 25 acc clock (around 120 plays)

And it just plays great ! I get realistic score and stats. I even get between 2 and 5 sacks per game by my CPU controlled player. Got 3 sacks from Robert Mathis last evening against the 49ers (5 sacks in total, all CPU controlled).

I don't have to become mad trying to find a perfect sliders set (i did so many times in previous games). THANKS EA ! THANKS IAN !

Of course it's not perfect, but i'm really enjoying it.

Maybe i'm lucky that my Madden skills are spot on with the All-Pro difficulty.
Sometimes it's good to be bad

You know what? I may just set everything back to default and try to play a game.

I'm maddened by Madden (pun intended) and this slider pursuit.

        Re: All-Pro default Sliders

Completely agree. I use All-Pro (default), slow, 50 threshold, and 12 minute 15 sec runoff.

So far in my season, my stats have been very realistic. And for the first time in any football game, I actually am in the middle of the league in rush defense (usually I am easily first). I just played a game against the Bears (I use the Eagles) and had my first loss of the season. (Westbrook got hurt in the second quarter) The Bears RB Forte ripped me on the ground for 145 yards on 31 carries! None of the runs were long runs either. And I have stopped many of the other running backs who aren't as good. Orlando Pace (their starting LT) was out and so I had a good pass rush against the backup but couldn't stop the run. A lot of hurries and 2 sacks. I threw two deserved Ints, but had a sweet playaction TD to Deshawn Jackson after running several run plays in a row.

The Bears ran non stop on me. On the other hand, when I played the Saints, Drew Brees threw the ball all over the place but I completely shut the run down. Luckily, Marion Barber was hurt when I played the Cowboys, but Witten was killing me.

The Bears had me down 13-0 due to a pick six INT and a long drive. I came back 17-13 at the half.
We went back and forth and they won 30-27. It was a great game. What I liked the most was that the Bears didn't stop running the ball just because they were behind. The run game (unfortunately for me) was working so they just kept at it. At one point they ran five run plays in a row. I have never seen that in a Madden game before. I am really enjoying this game.

You guys just might be right ... I also had tried a game on default all pro a week or so back, and it probably was one of the more enjoyable games I played. More this year than any other it seems (dramatic) slider adjustments hurt the game more than help....?

Maybe the trick is to leave sub-sliders alone and only adjust main sliders? I.E. if default all pro is too easy, adjust all main sliders up one from 10 to 11 (or until challenge fits your skill level), but do not mess with sub-sliders? Or at least try that process with the aspects of the game that are too easy on all pro (run O, run D, pass O, pass D, etc)

          Hmmm

The worst part being that when EA will release patch to tune gameplay issue (improve run blocking for example), then they'll have to redo all their sliders settings.

Problem is sliders are kinda connected to each other.
For example, i get more errant throw from CPU QB with CPU accuracy at 50 and Pass Reaction at 50, than CPU accuracy at 20 and Pass Reaction at 20.

I'm so pleased that i don't have to bother with sliders this year !

Sure would be nice if EA would get some info out on the 1st patch ... when we might see it, what aspects of the game might be improved, etc, etc.

Really sucks how they have completely disappeared from these boards since the game dropped!

Im playing on All-Pro now so I can get achievements. Sometimes I score too much... sometimes I get to many turnovers and sometimes I struggle against bad teams.

I joined an online franchise which I think it All-Pro with default settings and I really enjoyed the game. I played the CPU and lost but it was fun. I may do the same thing offline as well.

I agree, playing on default sliders or using MySkill yields the best results this year.

I will definitely give some default sliders a chance again (with maybe some "minor" tweaks) ... I just played a couple games using a couple different sliders and while the scores were ok, the overall gameplay just wasn't FUN, and in the end if it's not fun it really doesn't matter what the stats are!

How about All-Pro default and just tweak the CPU sliders? Anyone try this?

With default sliders, what game speed and threshhold are most of you going with? I'm currently on normal/50.

For kicks, I set it to Pro and used the Vikings to host the Bears.

After one half of football I still can't run with Peterson. The Bears run defense isn't that good ist it?
