Couple more things:

1. Auto line changes still suck. Tired players don't attempt to change often enough, even when another line is prompted on the ice by the game.

2. I don't know if it's just me, but I've lost count of the amount of times I've attempted to pass and absolutely nothing happens which typically results in a turnover. I'm 100% sure it's not my controller as well. Hope it's fixed in the real game.

3. Why is saucer pass still on the pokecheck button? Not only does this bring back the annoying scenarios in 09 where you intercept a pass and throw a saucer pass behind you but now with the addition of boardplay when you're poking at the puck during boardplay fairly often you'll gain possession instantly and then throw the puck away for no reason. Come on EA, all these oversights make it seem like nobody actually spends time testing the game.

Another little problem left in form last year

, Numerous times my players would fail to do what they were supposed to for me it was mostly when i tried to change player when on defense or when i tried to poke check that nothing would happen.

IBYCFOTA, from your experience does it happen mostly when the computer AI turns the pressure on? its like the AI is just saying i am going to score **** you.

Oh yeah.
There are some things I'm going to want to tweak (in particular the CPU's pass accuracy) and definitely mess around with the player attribute separation slider.

But so far I'm really liking this game.
I absolutely love the puck physics. I've seen some crazy bounces and goals that I never saw in 09.
Goal mouth scrambles are awesome!

The only thing I dislike about the Hardcore settings are the speeds of the passes.
If I can adjust it so I don't need to hold it down longer for a harder pass, I'll be extremely happy.
I love having no assist on passes and hitting. Putting together some nice passes through the neutral and offensive zones is very rewarding; as is lining up an opponent.

Yep! Exactly. 90% of the time when it happens I'm being forechecked by the computer in my own zone. Last night in OT I kept mashing the pass button as Datsyuk was hunting me down. Nothing happened of course, and he stripped me of the puck and scored to win the Stanley Cup (in OT). I would have been mad but I had already won the Stanley Cup that day like ten times.

Flip dumps -- Hold RB down for less time and you'll get less on the dump in. I'm looking at tuning this so that it goes over the boards less often when it is fully charged up.

Please don't tune it too much. The puck doesn't leave the ice as much as it should already...

it is up cause i'm in Scotland and i typed in NHL 10 into the PS store search engine and i got it. I am currently at 72%
