MLB Tackles?!?!?
Every time I play through my franchise my MLB, who was Jon Beason in this case, who is a top 10 line backer in the NFL, always ends up getting so many less tackles than the leaders in the league! Why is this, it makes me so mad, I almost can't even get around 10 tackles with him in a game. Does anybody know any sliders I can adjust to fix this or does anybody know if EA is gonna fix this in a patch. Thanks.

I think supersim messes up stats and the tackle assists dont add up and stuff. I find it weird too.....Another weird thing is the eagles mlb joe mays or something is 2 years pro had 170 tackles to lead the league and they released him at the end of the year and no one signed him. -

Know exactly what you mean, be it the 3-4 or the 4-3, I never rack up the tackles with MLB's like I should. More then likely either a DB or a DE ends up with majority of my tackles at the end of games.Comment

i know, for one, that the stat engine doesn't add tackles with assisted tackles. also, tackles is not an official nfl statistic and each team keeps their own tackle numbers...thus making them highly inflated. I think madden sims to get those inflated numbers.Comment

My FS has 40. MY MLB has 39. MY SS as 39.
However I only average about 50 defensive plays a game.Comment

Yeah it sucks, Keith Bulluck normally ends up with like 60 tackles a year in my franchise if I'm lucky.Comment

interesting... I put Micheal Mitchael in as a SS in his rookie year... he got rookie of the year racking up like 95 tackles and some picks and sacks...
Then i moved him to LOLB.. he consistently gets 100+ tackles a year.
but then again mabye it was because my defence was on the field most of the time... ahhaha i finished with 4 win 4 seasons in a row. (sim'ing all games)Comment

my MLB Lofton from atlanta had 113 for tackles. i simmed 5 games tho. Altho i do get around 9 tackles a game with him when i play. So its around the 100 i think probably more. I also get hapes of sacks with anderson. I always use the LE so thats why. He had 19 in that one season.Comment

I had 89 total Tckls with E.J. Henderson in my Vikings chise
6 min. Qtr played all 16 games used him every play, As i get better Im sure Ill break a 100 total with the MLB"Thank you EA for a Great Football Game""Eli you are one tough SOB"Comment

Had a hundred tackle season just recently, but in this years game i'm no where near the league leaders. I rarely get 10+ in a game, had 2 all of last season i think. Think my MLB has about 21 after 3 games.Comment

The problem is teams arent double team blocking DT's so blocker can get to the MLB's with ease!You looking at the Chair MAN!

It's mainly because of the CPU running game imo.
Depending on where I set my sliders, my defensive lineman (mainly ends) stuff the run and make the tackles. If I increase the CPU running ability then they push through pretty easily to the secondary and it's my safeties/corners tackling the backs. The other problem is I can't get linebackers to cover the tight end effectively, or the RB coming out of the backfield.
Linebackers are virtually useless for me. I just need to beef up my D-Line and have great safeties.Comment
