Yes, he is. His user name is treee (yes, that's a third "e" on tree).

I played him a week ago or so and he was a really nice guy and a straight player. Seemed like a good fit.

If he's not responding, I will PM him and we will set some hard parameters for keeping up with games.

I wanna see the stat line on the near-win vs. the Steelers. You're gonna be scary when you get that team where you want it! I can't believe what you're doing with them already.

Hey no worries man, I'm still very horrible at this game versus user opponents (CPU I fair a little better). Plus I've only played now 3 online games (XBL) so that's making it much harder to acclimate. Just keep playing and we'll all keep getting better in time.

Yup got it done and an asswhipping. Dude is the real deal. I dominated the first half and couldn't do crap in the second. Ugh, I HAVE to address this QB issue in the off season.

I haven't played Biff yet... I think he was referring to another team with the CK reference. I DID lose to Well Well week 4 3-13. Right now he's my frontrunner in the AFC and Tombsong is my frontrunner in the NFC. Tomb just beat another undefeated vet in NYkia.

I've been keeping tabs on all the games and am excited to release some Power Rankings on Sunday! I think I'm going to stick to a 1 power rank write-up per week schedule regardless of how fast our league moves. So I'll stick to every Sunday instead of moving with every 2 league weeks.

I'll tell you guys this too: Once DCMC gets his turnovers under control, he won't lose. He is very successful in ranked matches and will flourish once he harnesses the power of one of the most talented teams in this game.

Looks like Pappy has bounced back nicely from week 3's shutout to the Cards. Once Bob Sanders returns that team will be in playoff condition like they have been for half a decade.

Greazy's Cowboys will be tough to rate because his loss came on a miss-sim, not him actually losing. Greazy hasn't lost yet, even though his team has.

DJ's win against the CPU in week 4 put him in a very strong position 1/4 into the season at 4-0 as he continues to get the feel of Favre. He also has a CPU game week 5... things look good for hte vikes.

Man I never noticed until tonight that even though my kicker has a 96 rated kick power he also has an accuracy rating in the 70s.

No wonder he shanked so many kicks today.

Maybe it's time to find a new kicker.

I got shut out last week and dropped 45 today. With such a tough group of guys anything can happen in these games. BTW, I live for user picks! When you bombed it to Wayne I had a few steps on him with Bullitt and I knew I was taking that from you. My DBs start salivating when quarterbacks hang it in the air like that lol.

With the exception of a dumb pick that I threw early in the game, I can't really complain about anything. My DBs did a great job on Reggie and Housh. They only had two catches between the both of them. We also never allowed the Seahawks to get any type of rushing attack established. Hopefully they continue playing well in Bob's absence.

There were a lot of of guys getting hurt in our game but Donald Brown got the worst of it. Broken ribs will sideline him for three weeks. However, Larry Johnson was more than happy to carry the load by himself. He finished the day with a very solid 168 yards on 17 carries.

Austin Collie had his least productive game of the season offensively, but somehow he managed to find his way into several of my dime package plays. He's going to be one of the best WR's in the league by the time I'm done with him, but it's clear that he would like to play both ways.

The biggest impact players on my team this week were Marlin Jackson and Melvin Bullitt. Marlin Jackson finished with 4 tackles, 1 interception, and one sack. Bullitt has been filling in for Bob Sanders and doing a pretty good job. He returned an interception 97 yards for a TD. He now has 3 INTS on the year and a forced fumble to his credit.

Aaron Curry's work didn't really show up in the stat sheet but he did a great job of providing pressure and covering his man/zone. I'm loving his presence on the defense.

Everybody knows what Dallas Clark can do, but you might want to be on the look out for Jacob Tamme too. I moved him to second on the depth chart and he responded by catching a 77 yard TD. I'm liking what I've seen out of him so far. Considering how much I love throwing to TE's, he may very well start getting a lot more opportunities.

Good game biff. Those two picks toward the game was what sealed it. It was still a close intense game all the way up until the middle of the 4th. Good job. I got tore up by Jamal Lewis. He is a freakin machine. That guy is scary. You seemed to play 2 cb no matter what and it seemed like I couldn't take advantage of you run or pass until the 2nd half. Great job keeping the running game under control minus a few big plays. Good luck rest of the season.

Man, that was my best game this season. I finally had good balance on offense with AP going for 120-plus on the ground and Favre was 11-of-14 passing with a TD to Harvin that pretty much put the game away. Only blemish was an INT Favre threw in the end zone but that was more a great play by the CPU than a bad read.

It's a mixed blessing playing the CPU so often. On one hand I can get the games in whenever I choose but on the other, I don't get the user vs. user experience which is why I'm in this league.

Kasey, we've got a game coming up in a couple of weeks that'll be real interesting.

I think I have the most misleading stat line of the year so far. Louis Murphy was recently promoted from #5 to #3 on the WR depth chart, and here's his line for week 4: 2 Receptions, 144 Yards, 2 TDs. What's crazy about that line, other than the sheer numbers is that both of those pass plays could have been incompletions or worse.

The first TD was on a slot streak vs. an 8 man blitz that nearly put Russell out of commission as he was throwing. I've already been hit twice and picked by DL on those types of plays, but Russell put this one right where it needed to be and Murphy took it to the house.

The second TD came as I was anticipating another blitz and called a short out to Murphy. HOU had blanket coverage, and the CB made a diving swat at the ball, tipped it, but just barely so that Murphy could still catch it. The blitz left only one defender nearby and Heyward-Bey screened him off not once, not twice, but three times as Murphy weaved upfield, cut behind the block, and scampered to paydirt.

Those two plays were the story of the game, in which Andromada played well but got an overwhelming number of bad breaks. Russell played the game of his life, scrub WR had career days, and an inept front seven put heat on the QB all day. It was Twilight Zone-ish.

Big ups to Andromada, who made some diamond in the rough finds during the game that you all will need to watch, and whose team is capable of big things on offense once the team finds its groove. I'm glad I won't be facing him later in the season.

Last game had me feeling like this guy:

In all honesty, I did not think I called a bad game, or played badly.

This has been a staple of Madden Franchise mode forever.

It doesnt matter what team you use, your team will randomly just play like utter garbage for a handful of games during the season, no matter what you do, leaving you to pull your teeth to get through it. You can count on it.

Thomas Jones showed up, but that was it. My front seven took a vacation, my secondary dropped 3 sure INTs, My receivers wererunning as if they had cement in their cleats, and Leon Washington fumbled the ball with the score at 10-7..to close out the half. all I was trying to do was run out the clock.

I had the ball covered, and he fumbled anyway. Scooped up for a TD, to make it 17-7, and the game was essentially over at that point.

No highlights to post, as the gamefilm as promptly destroyed immediately afterwards

When do we advance again? I need to get the feeling of that clunker out of my system.

I plan on blitzing Chad Pennington and playing press man, on those stink wide outs..95% of the game.

In this league, the CPU games are just that.

Everybody who's played Madden for more than a week knows that there are a multitude of ways to exploit the CPU's deficiencies every time you break the huddle, it's just that most of us choose not to do so and prefer to have a clean game with the CPU that upholds the integrity of the league stats.

That's all I have to say on the matter, and I hope the league can move on to other topics of discussion.

We have a great group of guys here as well as great ownership, so I have no doubt this league will continue to succeed where others have failed.

Call me crazy, but I find myself calling more out of the box plays vs the cPu on both sides of the ball because I want to see how they handle it, and also give the CPU every opportunity to make a game out of it.

Youre right, if we all wanted to, we could march the ball up and down the field, by exploiting flats, and the cpu's tendency to tipping off when they are going to jail-break blitz.
