I am constantly getting called for holding on field goals. Several times I have gotten called for it, moved back, kicked again, and called again, effectively moving me out of range. I almost have to get real close to even think about a kick in anticipation for the penalty. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Nope. I only have a problem with the holding in online games. In my offline franchise, I've only had it called 2 times in over 30 games. One of those times ended the game for me, the other I just re-kicked and made it.NFL: Bills

It's a know issue supposed to be fixed in the first patch.

I believe I read somewhere on here that if you turn on the backtrack feature -- or whatever it's called, the one where Collinsworth tells you what you should have done after throwing a pick -- it reduces the holding calls on FGs and PATs for some reason.
I have it turned on and I've seen about three holding calls on kicks -- me and the CPU combined -- in 15-16 games.
Another option if you're playing against the CPU, and I'm not sure if this works as I haven't tried it, is to give yourself some rewind options (I think that's what it's called). There's like an option of one, two or unlimited per game. I think it's simply a do-over (someone correct me if I'm wrong). That way if you feel you got screwed by a holding call, just do it over.It's on me. I shook his hand too hard. It was a hard ... kind of a slap-shake.

Yeah I noticed this a ton with field goals and extra points, I usually just concede it and give the points so I don't have to deal with it repeating itself over and over.Comment

I have holding called on FGs and PATs at least once per game. It's terrible. I'm really enjoying this year's game with the exception of this glitch. Using the rewind feature to combat this is a good idea. Do you select the rewind option right before the game (similar to the uniform selection screen)?Comment

I don't mind the holding calls now and then, but what bugs me the most is that I get them all in a row.
3 different times now (twice on xtra points and once in a FG situation) I have had holding called on 3 consecutive plays.
Xp is good holding... move it back 10 yards....
Holding... move it back 10 yards....
HOlding, Move it back 10 yards...
Then finally no penalty.
Then of course, on one of the XP's after 3 holdings in a row I just go for 2 so that I don't have to keep rekicking and the announcing team makes fun of me for going for 2 instead of putting the easy 1 on the board!Comment

It's just another glitch. It will hopefully be fixed in a patch.

About every 2nd or 3rd game this happens once or twice either on PAT or FGs with I think my holding slider at 52. When I first got the game I had the slider at 75 and had one PAT attempt where it was called 4 straight times.
It's a known issue.Comment
