I have to rant though. I've been reading here for 6 years. OS was always a very mature site. Was great reading the comments of KDRE (now 23), monkey (now CV), Will (now WTF) and others.

Now, feels like OS is losing it's mature appeal. I just shake my head somedays and some of the new people here. Forums I used to love reading getting littered with trash. Taking away my enjoyment despite trying tto ignore it.

This video is impressive. Any genuine Basketball fan can see that. Now if the bias fans (both ways) can let people discuss the video instead of hate this, the other is better, etc.

Apologies to the mods for the off topic post so back on topic.

I cannot waiit to use freestyle passing with the great spacing Live has. Drive and kick baby.

I was an NBA LIVE fan back in the Super NES days, but...

I have been a 2K fan ever since the Dreamcast-era when Allen Iverson was the cover-boy...

**I want to say a big KUDOS to the EA team/staff this year for what's looking to be a GREAT game this year! EA's transition from '09 to '10 looks to DOMINATE the transition 2K from '09 to '10.

I am going to have to REALLY do my research this year to figure out which one I'm getting...thanks EA!!!

i was considering getting Live this year but after watching this video there is no chance in hell i'm buying this game. I was not impressed with the video. The arena sounds were good but other than that i was far from impressed. I'll admit it looks like a huge improvement on 09 but 09 was garbage so that doesnt really say much.

And let me say, i'm not some fanboy. I play The Show, Madden, NCAA, 2k, i just get whatever is the best game for that sport and I always got Live until about 3 years ago when i got 2k and realized how good it was. The info i saw coming out from Live looked great and had me thinking this was the year i get Live over 2k and i was excited that Live was going to be fighting for the top this year but now after watching the video i was not impressed. Seemed way too robotic and was not smooth.

Well, like I said, it's just about his style. If I saw Carmelo hanging on the rim after a dunk or Gasol dunking with two hands, I'd be UPSET
too, because both of them rarely do that, even though they CAN.

no i'll still try the demo and maybe i was a little over the top by saying no chance in hell. I should have said the demo really needs to impress me big time to get me to buy this game because i dont think it looks as great as i thought it would when i first started hearing the info. When i heard all the info i was pumped and ready to jump ship. Then after watching this video it showed me that its still not the top basketball game out there yet although it does looked improved over 09 but like i said, 09 was horrible.

My advice You is to rent both games or just nba live because demos really don't do games justice. You really need to play the full game to see if a game is good.

Its funny, This is EXACTLY how I feel with the OTHER NBA GAME... HONESTLY LOL
