Where can I find these? The ones they released each weak during the off-season.

Re: Madden Dev Blogs
I actually found what I was looking for. Ha, I'm not trying to get m11 info yet! I was just looking for some of the blogs where features were talked about that didn't make their way into the game. Can't seem to find the exact blogs. Thanks.Comment

Yes. Please update us with a list on the blogs and features that did not make the final game.Comment

Re: Madden Dev Blogs
They all made the final game. Not all of them necessarily work as we expected, but they're all there. A couple of examples...
Many say there is no Adaptive AI... there certainly is, run Iso repeatedly and you'll see it plain as day when the defense starts pinching on every play. It's not nearly as substantial as we'd all like, but it's there.
Many say that there are no sideline catches... well, the sideline catch blog wasn't so much about animations for sideline catches, but for the steering technology designed to make sure the receiver wasn't simply ignoring the sideline and making the catch with a foot out of bounds. This technology works... in fact, it works too well, and makes it so that the actual sideline catch animations never trigger. There are two types of people on OS: Those who disagree with me, and those who agree.

Re: Madden Dev Blogs
On the April Fool's blog about the crazy looking "Vision Cone 3.0," Ian says this:
"The other major problem we had to overcome was with the control. Playmaker control (originally implemented in Madden NFL 2004) is currently the default R-Stick functionality while back in the pocket, and through gathering a lot of feedback from the team we knew we didnโt want to change this as it is a fan favorite. Also, when you are behind the line of scrimmage, we wanted to discourage the "sprinting out of the pocket" mindset (by holding RT/R2 to sprint), so we thought that the sprint button could possibly be utilized. L2 / L-Trigger are totally free, but those can be very hard to use. So we settled on RT + R-Stick to activate QB Vision 3.0. This may seem complicated on paper but it is extremely easy after you practice it a few times."
So than why did they take it out to add in the QB avoidance thing? Personally, I've never used it and I don't really understand what the point of it is. It's a lot easier to just run with the QB to avoid pressure than to have to quickly reach for the right stick and push it in a certain direction just to watch the QB jump a foot sideways and still get sacked.Jay Cutler is a whiny little girl.Comment

Re: Madden Dev Blogs
Also from that same link, but instead from the March 24th DOF blog...
Referees on the Field
Unlike last-gen which only had 5, we were able to get all 7 referees in to Madden NFL 10 with AI and a full suite of avoidance (and collision) animations.
Not a big deal, but has anyone actually had collision animations with regards to the ref? I'm relatively certain you just go through them. No biggie, just wasn't sure.Jay Cutler is a whiny little girl.Comment

Re: Madden Dev Blogs
stadium specific chants was exactly what I was looking for. I KNOW I saw it, it was in one of the earlier blogs...seems to have disappeared? And the reason I'm looking isn't to bash for it not making the final cut, but more for myself to feel less crazy, because like I said, I know it read it. If there is any way to patch these in, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do it. I thought each stadium was supposed to have a unique feel and experience to playing in it...this doesnt seem to be the case.
Now that I think about it, I dont think it was blogged. I think it was in an interview...still searching.Comment

Re: Madden Dev Blogs
how sensitive is it? does it only happen if u run the same play consecutively? what about when u call certain plays in the same situations (i.e. 3rd down) does it pick up on that? or if u run a play 10-15 times in the first half will it pick up on it in the second half?this band is pretty cool. u should check them out: http://www.myspace.com/revolutionofthedeadComment
