    Hiring a new coach

when hiring a new coach in the off season, how come your teams offensive play book doesnt change to the coaches playbook that you just hired.

example: fired Tom Cable and Hired Clarence Shelmon.

offensive playbook is listed as Cable and not Shelmon.

    is this is a mistake?

I thought this changed in previous maddens? or do you have to hire a major coach to get it to change?

    thanks,

It didn't change in 360 Madden 09 and it doesn't change in madden 10. Franchise is mortally flawed.

Every year there is something so stupid that slips through. EA needs to let someone who is not stuck up their *** take a look at the game. I mean this stuff only takes a day to notice. The player card does not have round and pick, hello day one stuff.

      *Turns to EA whipping boy*

Hey how bout correcting that today?

      Thanks.

          Re: Hiring a new coach

I'm just guessing here. But it's either one of two reasons (probably)

          1. Whenever you edited a player in the past, he lost his draft info and "how acquired" info. People didn't like this so they took out all the info entirely.

or...and what I think is more likely.

          2. Every year you see a guy with 1 or 2 years pro rated 80 or above in Free Agency and it's because he was a gem found in the later rounds that the team only signed to a one year contract. Then, after his contract ran out he wanted a lot of money and the team let him go. The same can be said for 1st round picks that were busts, the team will cut him and he'll be a free agent sooner than would happen in real life. Therefore, if we were able to see where the guy was drafted, we'd complain that it's unrealistic for the 5th overall pick or a 5th round pick that turned out to be a stud to be in free agency after one year. So, they just took it out all together so there would be no evidence.
